OFFICER QA - 926231

(SANGATTA)

Some of your duties will include:

• To ensure and assist site project to meet quality requirements as per Thiess standards;
• Ensure Project Management Plan and Procedures are documented and incorporate the requirements of the contract and Quality Standard
• Provide input to the Quality Management System to ensure continuous improvement of TMS
• Assist Thiess personnel with the development of Project Plans to ensure they incorporate the requirements of the Quality System and Contract Conditions.
• Assess consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors Quality Systems for compliance with the contract/project requirements also communicate requirements.
• Perform surveillance and audit activities on consultants, suppliers and subcontractors to verify compliance with project/contract requirements.
• Implement non-conformance control system on the project for recording, actioning and closing out non-conformance and recording costs of remedial actions.
• Provide training and development of personnel in quality management to ensure understanding of system requirements.
• Action results of internal audits and management reviews in conjunction with Thiess personnel.
• Assist related department to document, monitor and evaluate government law, regulation and policies compliance to meet government requirements.

What skills and experience do you need?

• Tertiary or bachelor degree qualification in engineering &/ relevant field
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Quality & System &/ similar role as Officer QA
• Have a strong knowledge about Quality (HSQ Standard), OHSAS 18001, SMK3, ISO 9001, Safety Auditor, risk management process; Statutory regulations;
• Communication-written & verbal skills in English and Indonesian; Computer Literacy - Office software and other software required; Possess leadership traits, Time Management and Teamwork.

 

Manager Technical Services - 926372

(MELAK)

Some of your duties will include:

• Plan, control, organize and coordinate all tasks related to the engineering and environmental activities, such as mine planning, geology, survey, mine rehabilitation activities, and reporting.
• Establish and maintain a record of sound safety and environmental performance and management practice at all levels of operation as per Thiess standard.
• Manage and Coach all subordinates to get maximum performance preparing weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly mine planning and reports.
• Ensure all mine plans are completed in accordance with the mining contract terms and conditions.
• Monitor mining operation performance and to foster efficiencies through competent Engineering services skills and disciplines.
• Audit the project engineering departments to ensure quality systems, procedures and resources are effectively implemented.
• Manage the collation of the site Project Monthly Report templates and targets and review daily, weekly and monthly production and cost information in order to seek business improvement initiatives.
• Maintain, monitor and control production reporting system and provide support to site to ensure the data is updated regularly.

What skills and experience do you need?

• Graduated from Bachelor Degree in Mining Engineering/ Geology with Minimum of 8 years previous experience in Engineering / Mining at a Supervisory level or 4 years at Managerial level; Has experience in Client relations, Subcontract management, Project management, and previous experience in similar role;
• Comprehensive knowledge in mining concept and applications; Strong capability / exposure to mine planning and design software (MineScape, XPAC, Talpac, and other relevant software); Financial reporting & concepts; Has knowledge of and is familiar with mincom, drilling and blasting activities, cost control systems, explosive usage and procedures, AMI Codes Standards and Reporting, and RTKPL procedures; OHS&E requirements Legislative and statutory requirements; Technical expertise; Certified in POM from Mine and Energy Department;

SENIOR ENGINEER ENVIRONMENTAL, QA and Construction - 926369

(MELAK)

Some of your duties will include;

• To plan and ensure Environmental, Construction, and Quality are in line with project’s target
• Develop, manage, communicate, implement, maintain, audit and review Quality & Environmental Management Plan consistently to meet ISO14001 requirements
• Develop, manage, communicate, implement, maintain, audit and review quality & environmental management procedures and support their implementation so as to achieve the quality & environmental objectives targets set for the Project
• To maintain the ISO9001 & ISO14001 requirements consistently to Thiess Quality & Environmental Management Plan and its performance for the project during the audit
• To ensure Quality & Environmental Management Plan meet the ISO9001 & ISO14001 requirements consistently and maintain its performance for the project during the audit
• Actively contribute to a positive teamwork environment at all times
• Manage, implement, maintain, audit and review on a regular basis procedures for, site environmental management.
• Ensure any NCR and CAR raised is closed out in time.

• Develop Environmental Management System based on AMDAL, RKL and RPL or UKL and UPL for the site that conforms to the requirements of ISO14001 the company, client and comply with regulatory authorities.
• Monitor reclamation activities to ensure the mine reclamation targets are achieved to match the mine plan.
• Monitoring and controlling  Water Management Plan in a line to long term Mine Planning
• Monitoring and controlling hydrocarbon and waste management performance in accordance with environmental management plan
• Ensure all subcontractors follow the environmental regulations.
• Provide QA & Environmental reports in timely manner.

What skills and experience do you need?

• Degree in Environmental Engineering or Forestry Management/Engineering; “Pratama” Certification – Mine and Energy Department – preferred, with a minimum of 8 years professional experience in large open cut mining operation of which at least 3 years in same role as Senior Engineer Environmental, Quality and Construction ; Has supervision/ management role experiences;
• Have an experience as auditor of Environmental Management System ISO 14001 : 2004
• Proficient in Computer literacy, English, Government regulation relates safety and environmental and the implementation; Environmental management system; Environmental audit and inspection, AMDAL, UKL, UPL; Environmental monitoring and measuring.

SUPERVISOR MECHANIC (MAJOR BIG DIGGER) – (926370)

Some of your duties will include;

• Ensure that the maintenance department goals are achieved;
• Ensure maximum communication levels are maintained between workshop and operations personnel regarding breakdowns safety issues, and prioritizing of the equipment repairs;
• Ensure plant operational activities are completed in a safe, timely, efficient, environmentally aware and cost conscious manner;
• Ensure there is effective utilization of plant personnel and resources to achieve optimum performance in all facets; participate in the planning process to manage forward purchasing activities for components and parts; assist Plant Planning & Sites in the development of structured plant maintenance schedules; optimize major rebuild schedules with Plant Planning;
• Manage the relevant mobile plant assets to ensure 90% availability by proactive and continuous improvements to the asset base;
• lead, organize and provide direction for employees to ensure required performance is achieved in people performance, HSE&Q outcomes and the business results; proactively train workforce to meet plant operational requirements; liaise with OEM's, dealers and suppliers to purchase parts and to optimize plant operational and cost performance

• Good leadership and people management skills preferably with training in staff supervision; have ability in resource planning and OHS&E supervision; excellent interpersonal and communication skills for both oral and written in English; able to work under pressure are preferred character traits; be able to work on shift roster (day and night shift).

 

SUPERVISOR SERVICE – (926371)

Some of your duties will include;

• Ensure the accurate completion of daily servicing reports, crews shift reports, SOS report and review equipment services sheets.
• Ensure all breakdown machine are reported in OCDC and all information repair description, coding, start and finish have been filled correctly
• Analysis of component condition and recommendation of investigation required
• Prepare parts equipment and manpower for planned work and shutdown days, ensure all maintenance all maintenance are carried out in a cost effective and timely manner
• Monitoring daily servicing schedule, ensure greasing and air cleaner are serviced at the correct intervals and notify the superior if any changes is required
• Ensure safe working environment for all employees by ensuring all activities are carry out according to the work procedures in TMS and Melak Regulation
• Ensure that all refueling task are scheduled and socialized with fuelman crew and service crew to carry out in a safe, and minimize the spillage
• Ensure all disciplinary actions are issued as required in accordance with the Melak rules and government regulations and maintenance department rules

What skills and experience do you need?

• Have minimum Senior High School or Technical High School in mechanical/electrical, with minimum 6 years in Servicing, repair and supervision in the mining industry, planning of daily and scheduled servicing
• Servicing repair experiences in Caterpillar, Komatsu, Hitachi, Redrill, Iveco & Scania
• Having good Logical Thinking, People handling skills in all aspects of electrical repairs
• Good leadership and people management skills preferably with training in staff supervision; have ability in resource planning and OHS&E supervision; excellent interpersonal and communication skills for both oral and written in English; able to work under pressure are preferred character traits; be able to work on shift roster (day and night shift).

 

SENIOR SUPERVISOR MECHANIC (MAJOR TR/DZ/GR) – (926373)

(GBU)

Some of your duties will include;

• To ensure that the maintenance department goals are achieved
• Ensure maximum communication levels are maintained between workshop and operations personnel.
• Able to work with OCDC, JDE, open and close out work orders, DMG and SOS outstanding, Component Failure Investigation
• Able to diagnose and analyse component condition which having normal, abnormal, premature failure, and recommend parts those needed.
• Ensure correct procedures and steps in doing troubleshooting of Volvo, Terex, Komatsu truck machine
• Maintain DOOD, Pre service, and Mechanical inspection sheets and return service packages in 24 hours after machine release; ensure submission to planning department with in repair and parts recommendation. Address all known work, breakdowns, and planned maintenance
• Planning and co-ordination of shut down in cooperation with planning department. Ensure all repairs are carried out in a cost effective and timely manner.
• Investigation and reporting of all accident damage toward all equipment under his responsible and associated area, this includes operator abuse.
• Maintain all workplace safety inspections requirement ex. SBO, Amankah, JSEA, Ensure a safe working environment for all employee by ensure all activities are carry out according to the work procedures in the TMC and GBU project management plan
• Ensure that there is no impact on the environment from the activities that are carried out to operate and repair equipment by ensuring that the procedures in the TMS and GBU Management plan are followed.
• Ensure all disciplinary actions are issued as required in accordance with the GBU mine regulations and maintenance departments’ rules.

What skills and experience do you need?

• Minimum Senior High School, Mechanical Engineer or Mechanical Trade Specialist is preferred; requires a minimum 8 years' professional experience in similar role as Senior Supervisor with relevant qualification in Mechanical & Auto Electrical HE Repair and Plant Supervision in mining industry, planning of daily shut down schedule and breakdown repair; mechanical & auto electrical repair experience in HD Truck/Dozer/Grader unit such as Caterpillar, Komatsu ; handling diagnostic skill in all aspects of electrical repairs;
• Good leadership and people management skills preferably with training in staff supervision; have ability in resource planning and OHS&E supervision; excellent interpersonal and communication skills for both oral and written in English; able to work under pressure are preferred character traits;

 

SENIOR SUPERVISOR MECHANIC (MAJOR BIG DIGGER) – (926374)

(GBU)

Some of your duties will include;

• To ensure that the Maintenance Department goals are achieved MA>90 %, MTBS>60 hours Zero LTI, by following the procedures which are set up in Company Management System.
• Communication and reporting. Ensure maximum communication levels are maintained between workshop and operations personnel regarding breakdowns safety issues, and prioritizing of equipment repairs.
• Ensure to accurate the completion of daily breakdown report for reviewing by the Senior Supervisor before end of shift every day.
• Analysis of component condition and recommendation of parts required. Ensure that the correct procedures are used when breakdowns and failures troubleshooting.
• Ensure all WOs open status have been compared with current break down equipment to make sure all WOs are controlled and closed if the job has been done.
• Review DOOD (Daily Outstanding Operator Defect), SOS report, mechanical inspection are analysed and reviewed and also ensure it is submitted in daily complete with the part recommendation. Ensure the mechanic raises the list of part recommended accurately to address all backlog, breakdowns and planned maintenance.
• Ensure all break down machine are reported in OCDC, and all information repair description, coding, start and finish have been filled in OCDC correctly.
• Prepare parts equipment and manpower for planned work and shutdown days, Ensure all repairs are carried out in an effective cost and timely manner.
• Investigation and reporting of all accident damage to all equipment in the field and associated area, this is included with the operator abuse.
• Make a safe working environment for all employees by ensuring all activities are carry out according to the work procedures in the Company Management System, JSEAs are relevant and all hazards are controlled.
• Ensure that there is no impact for the environment from the activities that are carried out to operate and repair equipment by ensuring that the procedures in the Company Management System are followed.
• Ensure that all maintenance tasks are carried out in a safe and make sure subordinate understand of our objectives and Thiess policies, and address all safety information to crew.
• Ensure all the disciplinary actions are issued as required in accordance with the GBU Mine Regulations.

What skills and experience do you need?

• Minimum Senior High School, Mechanical Engineer or Mechanical Trade Specialist is preferred; requires a minimum 8 years' professional experience in similar role as Senior Supervisor Mechanic with relevant qualification in Mechanical & Auto Electrical HE Repair and Plant Supervision in mining industry, planning of daily shut down schedule and breakdown repair; mechanical & auto electrical repair experience in experience in Big Digger unit : Liebherr, Caterpillar, Komatsu, Hitachi ; handling diagnostic skill in all aspects of electrical repairs;

• Organize subordinate for job execution as per plan & supervisor direction
