UPC Renewables is a leading renewable energy wind farm developer.  UPC was founded over 18 years ago. The company focuses on wind and solar energy production. It has developed, financed and installed over 1,000 utility-scale wind turbine generators in China, Italy and the US and has active wind development in a number of other countries, including the Philippines, Indonesia, Morocco and Tunisia.

UPC has successfully build (and now operate) the first utility scale wind farm project (75 MW) in Sindereng Rappang (Sidrap), South Sulawesi, Indonesia and continue expanding its efforts in Indonesia with a long term business plan to build a significant number of these Green Energy Projects throughout the country. Position: Senior Surveyor (Code: SSP)

Based in Project

Responsibilities

  • To provide reliable and valid survey data of civil work progression and collation site survey services with the objective of ensuring accurate design and constructability
  • To ensure all design coordinates are mapped accurately against the outlined specifications in order to meet design and construction requirements.
  • To oversee, advice and assist subordinate and site staff during assembly in order to ensure structural elements are constructed in line with design specifications.
  • To record and collate the storage and archiving of all survey data in order to provide simple access to historically correct project information and in compliance with company standard on document management.

Requirements

  • Diploma in civil engineering, construction or related disciplines
  • Minimum 4  years experience
  • Quantity survey certificate or diploma
  • Experience working at civil construction sector is preferred.
  • Have few years of on-site experience performing quantity survey in construction, road or civil projects.
  • Have experience in leading a surveyor team

 

Position: CAD Specialist (Code: CADP)

Based in Jakarta

To perform engineering work related to configuring, deploying, maintaining and upgrading CAD models in the format and system prescribed for the project in order to meet project requirements and company’s quality standards.

Requirements

  • Degree in related educational background.
  • Minimum 5 years experiences as CAD Engineer.
  • Good written and spoken communication skills in English
  • Able to travel frequently to site
  • Team player, excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills
  • Able to draft general Lay out, cross section and detail drawing
  • Understanding on conceptual Civil Construction Drawing
  • Familiar with AUTOCAD CIVIL 3D for road design.
  • Familiar with Geo Reference Drawing
  • Able to create Topographycal/Land Countour based on survey data
  • Understanding design drawing of Power Transmission and Distribution.

 

Position: Manager Construction (Code: CMP)

Project Based – Sulawesi Selatan (Sidrap).

Responsibilities

  • To manage the construction works of the project to which he has been assigned in order to ensure that targets are achieved
  • To manage and develop the assigned subordinates in order to optimize workable time in construction.
  • To review and control continuous improvement and optimization activities in order to ensure optimum efficiencies in ongoing basis.
  • To review and control sufficient competent technical resources are available in order to effectively perform construction activities.
  • To maintain inter and intra-functional coordination to ensure that construction plans and schedules are integrated.
  • To monitor and provide recommendation towards safe and environmentally friendly working procedures in order to ensure the excellent safety record and encourage employee participation in health and safety matters in order to comply with statutory requirements and HSE expectation.
  • To consolidate and review reports from subordinates/team members in order to ensure the accurate presentation of monthly and annual reports for decision making purposes.

Requirements

  • Degree in civil engineering or related disciplines
  • Deep knowledge upon practical application of building and civil construction & safety legal requirements
  • Having 10 – 12 years experience in civil/construction
  • Have extensive experience in building construction works with a capability in monitoring direct staff and subcontractors
  • Experience in managing operational and technical role in the construction industry
  • Have a minimum of 5 years exposure in civil project management.
  • Have extensive experience in civil infrastructure works with a capability in both managing civil and infrastructure planning (short or long term planning) and civil engineering.
  • Have extensive experience in civil infrastructure works with a capability in both managing civil workshop and project construction and quantity surveys.
  • In-depth knowledge of managing financial aspect of civil and construction industry.
  • Experience working at civil/contractors are preferred.

 

Position: Document Administrator (Code: DAP)

Based in Jakarta

Responsibilities

  • To obtain and study prequalification (PQ) documents to ensure that the required data is proper and accurate.
  • To collate, compile, finalize required documentation for proposal, tender and pre-qualification documents in order to meet submission deadlines and in compliance with client requirements and to maintain into the system.
  • To prepare all necessary documents including company’s capabilities, project datasheets and CVs of key personnel to support requirements of enquiries
  • To liaise with legal department to get the update information for all necessary data and/or documents with all relevant associations, in which a mandatory requirement under Indonesian regulations
  • To maintain and archive the documents and to ensure documentation required for specific project is completed and meet the requirements.
  • To maintain company management & documentation system to ensure effective document control

Requirements

  • Degree in business management is preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years experience
  • Good written and spoken communication skills in English
  • Have experience in project commercial and contractual aspects
  • Team player, excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills
  • Excellent in power point presentation
  • Familiar with Quality Management Systems

 

Position: Officer Logistic (Code: LOGP)

Based in Project (Local Placement)

Responsibilities

  • To arrange the logistic operations (air, land and marine transportation) to which has been assigned in order to ensure timeliness of all material and spare parts delivery, including administer and coordinate with the related parties to ensure all the purchase requisitions are properly issued and processed, and delivery times as well as payment terms are well negotiated
  • Requirements
  • Diploma in civil engineering, construction or related disciplines
  • Minimum 3 years experience
  • Deep knowledge upon logistic operation & safety legal requirements
  • Have experience in inventory control, warehouse and logistics management
  • Experience working at construction/civil sector especially in Java and or Sulawesi area is preferred.

 

Position: Procurement (Code : PROP)

Based in Project

Responsibilities

  • To coordinate the acquisition of goods/materials at which he has been assigned according to agreed plan, with the prime objective of securing shortage, optimize the efficient supplier selection at the best commercial terms, and in compliance with the prevailing procedures.
  • To coordinate the data completion and data integrity of supplier and pricing database in order to obtain quality products at best commercial terms negotiable in the market.
  • To review and monitor all purchase orders in order to fulfill the demand of goods which are required to perform company’s core activities effectively.
  • To coordinate and align the change on requirement with the procurement process in order to ensure effective consolidation and centralization.
  • To coordinate the update of purchase order tracking system on a regular basis in order to ensure accurate tracking in terms of goods delivery, invoices received and payment made.

Requirements

  • Degree in related educational background.
  • Minimum 4 years experiences as Procurement.
  • Good written and spoken communication skills in English
  • Team player, excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills
  • Deep knowledge upon procurement procedure & safety legal requirements
  • Experience in export import process

Position: Senior Engineer – Civil (Code: SECP)

Based in Jakarta.

Responsibilities

To support the manager in coordinating the civil design and engineering activities with the prime objective of ensuring construction activities are built as per design and specification, in line with company health and safety procedures and with the objective of meeting project timelines and budgets.

Requirements

  • Civils Engineering qualification at bachelor’s degree level or higher in a relevant discipline.
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in the management of civil engineering.
  • Has project development (pre-delivery experience) and on-site construction experience
  • Fluent in English with excellent communication skills
  • Ability to analyze complex problems including do coordination with other Engineering Disciplines (eg. Electrical and Mechanical).
  • Excellent and Advanced in Design Analysis Software including extensive knowledge of ACAD packages including analysis skills.
  • Solid understanding and knowledge of construction methods, sequents and legal regulations, Commercial awareness, well developed and detail oriented organizational skills
  • Specialist in Roads, bridges and mini port facilities construction including exposure on Power Transmition and distribution are advantages.
  • Knowledge of health and safety / safe construction working practices (temporary works in particular)
  • Ability to work to strict deadlines and to appropriate levels of professionalism, good initiative as invidual contributor and or flexible in working as a part of team.

 

Position: Senior QAQC (Code: SQAP)

Based in Project

Responsibilities

  • To manage and review all inspection and testing requirements to be fulfilled and work quality is achieved in order to meet client’s requirement as per the contract.
  • To monitor that all records are completed and compiled for submission to client with regards to completed work quality in order to meet client’s requirement as per the contract.
  • To review quality of products/supplies/services by sub-contractors meet the specified requirement at source with regard to completed work quality in order to meet client’s requirement as per the contract.
  • To manage the implementation of the project quality plan in order to meet the company’s internal policies and certification to international standards.
  • To manage the implementation of the audit programs in order to meet the company’s internal policies and certification to international standards.
  • To review and control the continuous improvement process in order to meet the company’s internal policies and certification to international standards.
  • To consolidate and review reports from subordinates/team members in order to ensure the accurate presentation of monthly and annual reports for decision making purposes.

Requirements

  • Degree in civil/structural engineering, project management or related disciplines
  • Deep knowledge upon practical application of building and civil construction & safety legal requirements
  • POU holder
  • Having 10 – 12 years experience in civil/construction
  • Have extensive experience in large-scale civil infrastructure works with a capability in monitoring direct staff and subcontractors
  • Experience in managing ISO9000 in the construction industry.Have experience in QA/QC training
  • Experience working at civil contractor is preferred.
