Drill Operator PT Batutua Tembaga Raya and PT Batutua Kharisma Permai

PT Batutua Tembaga Raya and PT Batutua Kharisma Permai jointly operate the Wetar Copper Mining in Southwest Maluku. The Wetar copper Mining is an open pit mine that produces cathode copper LME grade from heap leaching followed by Solvent Extraction and Electrowinning processing.

The heap leach solvent extraction-electro winning (SX-EW) Copper Plants are designed to produce up to 30,000 tonne per annum copper cathode. To strengthen the existing management team and to ensure the achievement of the company objectives, the company is seeking suitable candidates to fill the position of:

 

Drill Operator

This position will be based at the Wetar Copper Mining site and reports directly to Supervisor Mine Operation. To operate Drill for Grade Control, Blast Hole and Leach Pad refer to instruction from Supervisor Drilling in mine operational activities to achieve production target safely.

Candidates for this role would be expected to have the following qualifications, experience and Key Responsibilities:

Formal Education :

• Senior High School

Work Experience :

• At least have minimum 5 years relevant experience.

Technical Skill Required :

• Experiences and have been trained to operate drill equipment for mine activities.
• Have Capability and competency to operate drill equipment.
• Understanding daily target and perform the best to achieve target.
• Good Attitude.
• Good Communication.
• Willing to follow Supervisor’ s Instruction.

Key Responsibilities :

• Continuously provide contribution to achieve shift drill meter production target.
• Optimize equipment utilization and maintain equipment availability by avoid operational abuse.
• Perform daily operational task as procedure, guideline and instruction
• More focus on safe working behavior for people, equipment and environment.
• To understand safe working area, conduct safe working observation prior to start activities
• To understand equipment technology, have appropriate skill, technical competency and license to operate equipment.
• Perform Daily Prestart Equipment Check prior to start activities, any issue with equipment condition need to report to Supervisor Drilling
• To read and understand all guideline and instruction how to operate equipment.
• To Understand work instruction and operational procedure of equipment
• Take Responsibility for all of act and work result.
• Avoid the act that will be categorized as safety violation
• Always involve and contribute for all effort to achieve production target.
• Maintain Zero Harm and Free Fatality.
• Active communicate to Supervisor and other workforce in unsafe condition or unsafe area.

Certifications :

• Training certificate required by Law and Company Regulations
• Driving License C issued by government
• First Aid

General Requirements :

• Ready to work at remote area.
• Good team work
