SENIOR SUPERVISOR CONTRACT – 926160
(Jakarta Head Office)

Some of your duties will include:

• To manage contract functions, supervise and manage a group of Contract Specialists, coordinate contracts administration activities for tender and awarding process, respond to contract performance issues, contribute to Thiess corporate objectives
• Manage and responsible for supervising a group of Contract Specialist in performing daily activities/job tasks, achieving team goals and meet the objectives
• Reviewing tender and contract documents to ensure the necessary term and conditions are all incorporated.
• Analyzing all required analysis to ensure it is the most favorable option to the Company.
• Accept responsibility and be accountable for actions
• Avoid situations resulting in a conflict of interest, bribery or the use of inducements to secure business
• Manage and coordinate the flow of information concerning contractual appointments, termination and contractual related correspondence to suppliers and sites
• Communicate with clients/sites regarding sub & supply contract matters.
• Respond to contract inquiries from clients/sites and other departments.
• Periodically review operational procedures to assure maintenance of confidentiality of both document files and data systems
• Justify Tender cost savings
• Liaise with Project and Ops Managers on any contractual issues
• Negotiate with suppliers on contractual disputes
• Monitor Supplier & Subcontractor performances during contract period (6 monthly subcontractor/supplier evaluation reports)
• Monitor continues feedback and decisions from contract specialist in assisting user for contractual issues

What skills and experience do you need?

• Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Economy, Civil, Mechanical and/or Industrial Engineering with 3-4 years’ experience in contract related In Procurement Contract area; must have skill in Supply Chain Contracts Management; knowledge of tendering process, business contract drafting, purchasing experience
• Knowledge of Tendering process, Business Contract Drafting, Purchasing Experiences, Negotiation and Communication Skills. Will attend a lot of face to face meetings with Vendors, end users and also within internal Supply Chain
• Strong skills in communication, leadership, problem solving and negotiation; self-motivated, have a good planning skill and high initiatives; fluent in English both oral as well written and computer literacy.

 

ENGINEER MACHINE HEALTH ANALYSIS - 926135
(Jakarta Head Office)

Some of your duties will include:

• Review & Analyse the reliability of equipment
• Optimize component life through the application of health services
• Provide equipment health intelligence to the maintenance planner to determine optimal repair / change out intervals in this sort to medium term
• Provide equipment health recommendation and follow up recommendation to be action by site plant operation
• Proactive to review the current plant maintenance strategy & Operational Equipment Issue
• Provide equipment data summary for maintenance & operational purposes

What skills and experience do you need?

• Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Ex apprentice program
• Min 3 years in heavy equipment maintenance

 

PLANNER FIXED PLANT (ELECTRICAL) – 925966
(Senakin)

Some of your duties will include:

• Completing all assigned maintenance planning task and Proactive contribute to efficient and effective organization and management plant department to achieved standard KPI/ MA for washed plant and port plant and general Fixed Plant responsible associated.
• Communicate openly and honestly at all times with CHPP operation, other section in Fixed Plant and other department relations
• Coordination with supervisor in order all outstanding jobs is execute, collected and registered into system (Closing job properly)
• Ensure daily input SMU into system, raise daily breakdown plant report and other duty in charge from other hand over.
• Maintain / manage and monitoring PM Schedule, component change out schedule at the system, coordination with all level while ordering component/spare part.
• Provide spare part as required planning job and support spare parts for breakdown job.
• Monitor and maintain stock inventory in order to guarantee plant running smoothly even electrical in senakin mine and Manage critical / routable component.
• Maintain all data relating to the Fixed plant required.

What skills and experience do you need?

• Minimum mechanical high technical school; Tertiary qualification maintenance management is desirable.
• Minimum 5 years experience in similar roles in Fixed Plant Electrical.
• Good communication in English as well Bahasa; computer literate; high initiative, performance driven; good planning skill with capability of managing relationship and develop others; able to communicate to all level (internal/external), proactive; able to work in under pressure.

SENIOR SUPERVISOR FIXED PLANT – 926276

Some of your duties will include:

• Responsible for the day to day Production activities of the JIG Plant and Sembilang Load Out Port to establish high performance for Health, Safety and Environmental performance.
• Responsible for ensuring the settings for the JIG plant are adjusted continuously throughout the operating production period to achieve the highest production targets directly related to the feed product each shift;
• Responsible to ensure all Operational employees are working safely and adhering to Site and TCI policy and procedures.
• To plan, co-ordinate and supervise the operational project to deliver a product that meets the required standard, on budget and achieving higher than standard production targets.
• Proactive to control and coordinate management of all operational maintenance tasking and planning which directly affect coal product quantity and quality to enable the best result for the least amount of expenditure.
• Coordinate with operational staff and the other department related to get solution for plant problems, which directly affects production in JWP processing; Monitor, evaluate, and communicate repair requirements to the Maintenance Supervisors of the plant equipment with relation to production quality.

What skills and experience do you need?

• Min. Technical High School, with minimum 5 year experience in the mining industry in similar position at Fixed Plant/CHPP.
• Have experience on subcontractor and employee supervision, and Quality Control;
• Have strong leadership skill; good communication skills in English for both written and verbal; good organization skills ; and, computer literate.

 

SPECIALIST TRAINING (MECHANICAL) – 925801

Some of your duties will include:

• Develop, review, revise and amend TCI Training Packages and lesson plans .
• Promote TCI courses to site personnel ensuring that purpose and content of training is understood.
• Active involvement in the planning of training activities with minimal disruption to production activities in order that training facilities & resources are optimised
• Maintain current technical skills and competencies
• Design assessment material, which is relevant to, used competency standards; Conduct tests and examinations

What skills and experience do you need?

• Recognized Industry Trade and / or mechanical engineering Qualifications; with minimum of 10 years’ experience within the mining industry as a HE Tradesman Mechanical; 3-5 years’ experience as a trade trainer and or supervisor; familiar with heavy earth moving equipment technical codes including truck and/or excavator/dozer/grader/wheel loader; Certificate IV in Workplace Training; POP Certification;
• Training System principles and concepts; Strong communication skills in English and Bahasa (written & verbal); facilitation skills; presentation skills; have self-confident, familiar with work in under Pressure and computer literacy.

 

ANALYST DMG - 926296

Some of your duties will include:

• Ensure to achieve data download target as primary analysis data.
• Provide Production Report and Maintenance Report base on downloaded data.
• Do prognostic analysis (trending analysis) from download data and combined with SOS and other condition monitoring data to optimize component life by generating recommendations for investigation or pre-failure maintenance.
• Follow up the pre-failure recommendations and investigation/backlog aging to the Fleet Superintendent and Supervisor.
• Provide equipment health intelligence to the maintenance planner, Fleet Supt to determine optimal repair / change out intervals or shutdown in the short to medium terms.
• Provide post-failure supporting data and recommendation from download event history to reveal contributing factors or root cause of events. Support external warranty in providing data support and give brief explanation on each finding that we get.
• Provide equipment health intelligence to the mining department by the means of download data, accident investigation, application of FPO/ASA and annual performance data support.
• Work together with OEMs to gain best practice on pre-failure maintenance and machine application/operation and applied them on site.

What skills and experience do you need?

• Minimum Diploma Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering with 3 years’ experience in similar role as Analyst DMG;
• Has qualification and experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanics; Team Leading & Auditing Skills; Reliability and Plant Systems Skills; information monitoring and data collection;
• Possess good analytical skill; Communicative; being able to speak and understand English is a must; Computer literate.

 

ENGINEER ENVIRONMENTAL - 926295

Some of your duties will include:

• Develop, manage, communicate, implement, maintain, audit and review Environmental Management Plan consistently to meet ISO :14001 requirements;
• Maintain ISO :14001 requirements and its performance for the project during the audit;
• Develop, manage, communicate, implement, maintain, audit and review environmental management procedures and support their implementation so as to achieve the environmental objectives targets set for the Project;
• Develop an Environmental Management System (EMS) based on AMDAL, RKL and RPL or UKL and UPL for the site that conforms to the requirements of ISO:14001 the company, client and comply with regulatory authorities;
• Manage, implement, maintain, audit and review on a regular basis procedures for, site environmental management, including: Data record and system documentation; Internal Audit and its action plan; Environmental Management Review (EMR); Plan of Management activities; Make action plan from audit findings and time frame to close it out; Close out any NCR and CAR raised during the audit or internal inspection and monitoring in timely manner;
• Learn and be exposed to all environmental activity in detail. Assist the senior environmental engineer on daily environmental activity and will be a relief environmental supervisor during the absence of the environmental supervisor

What skills and experience do you need?

• Bachelor Degree in Environmental Engineering with minimum 3 years’ as Environmental Engineer in open pit coal mining operation;
• Has experience in waste management, water management, re-vegetation and rehabilitation; Obtain Environmental management training, environmental monitoring, AMDAL A/B, Environmental Management System ISO 14001 : 2004 and ISO 9001; Internal Auditor; Minescape – Mining Software, Microsoft Office, ArcGIS Software; possess government certification of POP (Pratama Competency Test);

 

OFFICER QA - 926231

Some of your duties will include:

• To ensure and assist site project to meet quality requirements as per Thiess standards;
• Ensure Project Management Plan and Procedures are documented and incorporate the requirements of the contract and Quality Standard
• Provide input to the Quality Management System to ensure continuous improvement of TMS
• Assist Thiess personnel with the development of Project Plans to ensure they incorporate the requirements of the Quality System and Contract Conditions.
• Assess consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors Quality Systems for compliance with the contract/project requirements also communicate requirements.
• Perform surveillance and audit activities on consultants, suppliers and subcontractors to verify compliance with project/contract requirements.
• Implement non-conformance control system on the project for recording, actioning and closing out non-conformance and recording costs of remedial actions.
• Provide training and development of personnel in quality management to ensure understanding of system requirements.
• Action results of internal audits and management reviews in conjunction with Thiess personnel.
• Assist related department to document, monitor and evaluate government law, regulation and policies compliance to meet government requirements.

What skills and experience do you need?

• Tertiary or bachelor degree qualification in engineering &/ relevant field
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Quality & System &/ similar role
• Have a strong knowledge about Quality (HSQ Standard), OHSAS 18001, SMK3, ISO 9001, Safety Auditor, risk management process; Statutory regulations;
• Communication-written & verbal skills in English and Indonesian; Computer Literacy - Office software and other software required; Possess leadership traits, Time Management and Teamwork.

 

CONTAMINATION CONTROL - 926030

Some of your duties will include:

• Develop plant contamination control quality on workshop facility & support, equipment to improve machine performance and eliminate component failure due contamination issue;
• Ensure all mechanical inspection are carried out in detail and filed correctly;
• Implementing initiative of contamination program;
• Ensure all necessary actions are taken to rectify any faults identified by the inspections, in accordance with the correct procedures;
• Supporting team requirement to meet the target successfully;
• Identify substandard & standard work practice on plant and work environment which impacting machine reliability and availability.

What skills and experience do you need?

• Minimum of Bachelor Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering; Requires to have 7 years experiences as Specialist Contamination Control or similar role in mining industries in large open cut mining operation of which at least 3 years leadership experience in Supervisory of Workshop Mechanical repair/service role is preferable;
• Experience of Team Leading, Planning, and Reliability are prioritized; Have experience in handling skills & diagnostic skills in all aspects of mechanical repairs; Familiar with auditing and plant system in coal mining business;
• Good leadership skill, possess good analytical skill & knowledge; Communicative; being able to speak and understand English is a must; Computer literate.

 

SENIOR ENGINEER MINING - 925934

Some of your duties will include:

• Report to Engineering Superintendent;
• Provide technical design and support for mining engineering activities to maximize productivities in the most cost effective and efficient manner;
• Ensuring a safe professional environment is maintained;
• Provide daily advice to production personnel on the required direction of mining to achieve scheduled sequences and targets;
• Coordination with Senior Mining Supervisor to ensure OB quality;
• Coordination with Drill and Blast Engineer and Supervisor to manage blasting sequence;
• Manage cost of drilling and blasting;
• Coordination with client and Senior Mining Supervisor to ensure mine sequence, dump sequence following pit design and productivity achievement;
• Weekly coordination with client and Senior Mining Supervisor regarding equipment allocation, production targets, mine sequence, etc.

• Minimum of 4 years in site experience;

SENIOR ENGINEER MINE PLANNING – 925384

SENIOR ENGINEER DRILL & BLAST - 925601

• To lead drill and blast section team
• To provide the leadership and coaching within drilling and blasting section
• To make sure all drilling and blasting activities are following the plan, safe, in cost manner, good quality, documented and reported on time
• To make sure blasting quality are good to allow easy digging and digger can work productively
• To make sure record and report are correct, drill consumables stock are safe for continuity drilling
• To make sure broken stock are safe to allow digging sequence following mine planning
• To ensure explosive and accessories used in the field as per blasting plan
• To ensure record of explosive and accessories usage are correct and reconciled in weekly basis
• Actively contribute to a positive teamwork and environment at all times
• Prepared drill and blast design to make good fragmentation and benching/sloping

• Prepare statistics and report to client based on daily and monthly basis
• Prepare 6 month forecast of explosive and accessories every month
• Prepare Drill requirement and consumable for monthly basis

What skills and experience do you need?

• Tertiary degree in Mining, Civil or Geologist with 8 years’ experience in similar role in Open Pit Mining;
• Hold certificate Blaster Class II; understanding of mining sequences, mining and construction technology, mining Equipment and applications, engineering Principles; familiar with designing drill and blast; leading the team and explosives handling; proficient in applications applications of terramodel drill blast and shot plus software;
• Candidate should fluent in English both oral and written, and proficient in computer literacy; strong leadership; self motivated; ability to influence; team player; innovative and problem solving; supportive; communicative; and able to work under pressure are preferred character traits.

 

SUPERINTENDENT MINING – 925862

Some of your duties will include:

• Co-ordinate all mining senior supervisors and mining supervisors in the workplace of the removal of overburden/inter burden and coal in a safe, effective manner on time and within budget in a designated area;
• Plan, direct, monitor and reconcile the technical aspect of the mining operations including daily, short to tong term (annual) plans, operational performance, blast design and sequencing, rehabilitation, drainage and road design, to assist in achieving agreed coal production targets;
• Check daily production figures and use them to address the problem areas;
• Minimize coal losses;
• Analyze and review the system, procedures and equipment utilized within the mine and recommend improvements to enhance coal production;
• Develop standards and procedures of work that can be applied across operations;
• Maintain and facilitate clear communication with all stakeholders, clients, customers, suppliers with respect to operational capability, performance, and resource requirements.

What skills and experience do you need?

• Minimum graduated from Senior High School; minimum of 8 years’ experience in large open cut mining operation of which at Least one or two year in production/service supervision/ management role;
• Mining heavy industry experience is essential; Could operate mining equipment;
• Good leadership and people management skills preferably with training in staff supervision; excellent interpersonal and communication skills for both oral and written in English; conflict resolution; sound decision making skills.

 

SENIOR SUPERVISOR MINING – 926236

• Coordinating all supervisors in the workplace of the removal of overburden/inter-burden in a safe, effective manner on time and within budget in a designated area;

• Good leadership and people management skills preferably with training in staff supervision; have ability in resource planning and OHS&E supervision; excellent interpersonal and communication skills for both oral and written in English; be able to operate computer; conflict resolution; sound decision making skills; Posses POP (Pengawas Operasional Pratama) certification at Mine and Energy Department; be able to work on shift roster (day and night shift).
