PT Agincourt Resources Martabe Gold Mine

Martabe Gold Mine is managed and operated by PT Agincourt Resources. The mine covers an area of 30 km² that falls under the sixth generation of Contract of Work (CoW) covering a total area of 1,639 km².

The resource base on 31 December 2017 includes 8.8 Moz of gold and 72 Moz of silver. Production commenced at Martabe on 24 July 2012. The operating capacity of Martabe Gold Mine is in excess of 5 mtpa ore to produce in excess of 300,000 oz of gold and 2-3 Moz of silver per annum.

PT Agincourt Resources engages more than 2,600 employees and contractors, with approximately 98% Indonesians, of which more than 70% were recruited from local people.

 

To strengthen the existing maintenance management team and to ensure the achievement of the company objectives, the Martabe Gold Mine is looking for candidate to fill the role:

 

QA/QC ENGINEER TSF (TSF 1812081)

This position will be based at Martabe Site in TSF Department, working on schedule 4 Weeks on; 2 weeks off and reports directly to Superintendent/Senior Engineer TSF.

The Role of QA/QC Engineer TSF is to support TSF operations and technical teams to ensure the TSF is constructed to design compliance through management of the record QA/QC system. QA/QC Engineer must ensure quality of TSF construction meet the design criteria and specification. Record well of daily inspection, AMD check list, review in daily basis the performance and schedule placement to support TSF target on elevation.

QA/QC engineer will also be familiar with the construction schedule and track performance against plan, including the controls for AMD management and record keeping for materials placed.

There will be a close liaison with the consulting engineer to ensure QA testing meets objectives and construction specifications, with regular communications on progress and any non-compliance. Ensure contractor understand the technical specification for TSF construction. Due diligent of all SOPs and implement Quality Assurance

Candidates for this role would be expected to have the following qualifications and experience:

1. Certificate in Civil Engineering, BSc, majoring in Civil or Geotechnical engineering
2. Minimum 5-7 years of experience on earthwork construction as QA/QC Engineer and very familiar with soil lab operational including monitoring instrumentations
3. Membership of Civil or Geotechnical Engineering Association
4. Certificate as Professional Engineer
5. Certified as POP
6. Preferable Have Certified in Soil Lab
7. Good communicator
8. Proactive in safety
