Job Title: Bench Assistant – KPC Sangatta

About the role

We are currently seeking Bench Assistant role at KPC Sangatta Site in East Kalimantan, Indonesia. This main role is to assist with delivering a quality service of bulk explosive delivery to customers in a safe and environmentally conscious manner at all times. Working closely with the Shotfirer or On Bench Supervisor/s on site, performing tasks as directed associated with loading, tying and firing blasts. This posiyion will report to Team Leader and will work on 5 days on & 2 days off roster.

What you will be doing

• Ensuring the safety and protection of self, fellow employees, customers, the public and environment;
• Compliying with the requirements of the Orica Safety Charter, Operating procedures and standards;
• Participating in daily Toolbox talks and Monthly Safety Meetings;
• Maintaining required House Keeping standards;
• Perform other ancillary duties including relief at other locations, consistent with level of competence asreasonably instructed by the supervisor

What you bring

• A minimum Senior High graduation;
• Willing to work under pressure in mining area
• Complying with the requirements of the Orica Safety Chartet, Operating procedures and standards
