PT Agincourt Resources; Supervisor Sponsorship & Event Manag

Martabe Gold Mine is managed and operated by PT Agincourt Resources. The mine covers an area of 30 km² that falls under the sixth generation of Contract of Work (CoW) covering a total area of 1,639 km².

The resource base on 31 December 2017 includes 8.8 Moz of gold and 72 Moz of silver. Production commenced at Martabe on 24 July 2012. The operating capacity of Martabe Gold Mine is in excess of 5 mtpa ore to produce in excess of 300,000 oz of gold and 2-3 Moz of silver per annum.

PT Agincourt Resources engages more than 2,600 employees and contractors, with approximately 98% Indonesians, of which more than 70% were recruited from local people.

To strengthen the existing maintenance management team and to ensure the achievement of the company objectives, the Martabe Gold Mine is looking for candidate to fill the role:


SUPERVISOR SPONSORSHIP & EVENT MANAGEMENT

This position will be based in Martabe Site within Corporate Communications Department, working on schedule 4 Weeks On : 2 weeks Off and reports directly to the Superintendent Sponsorship & Event Management.

The Role of the Supervisor Sponsorship & Event Management is to Regardless of the size and type, sponsorships as well as events and visitors management play an important role in the positive presentation and positioning of Martabe Gold Mine to our local, national and international communities. Often involving senior academic, business, community and Government representative, events and visits are opportunities to showcase and build on Martabe Gold Mine’ s corporate and community profile and reputation.

Expected Outcomes:

  • All aspects of the organization and management of sponsorships, events and guest relations are delivered, publicized and documented effectively.
  • With emphasis on critical thinking and analytical research skills, the position holder is encouraged to produce communication strategies and to challenge viewpoints, explore creative ideas and concepts, and examine issues from many different perspectives to elevate the image and competitive edge of an organization through well-integrated PR plans and event campaigns.
  • Communication collateral for events of visits is prepared as appropriate in a timely manner.

Candidates for this role would be expected to have the following qualifications and experiences:

  1. Bachelor Degree Major in Public Relations or Economic. Degree in Customer Service, Communications and other related subjects.
  2. Proven experience in hosting guests from international, national to local levels with high familiarity with its variations of cultural awareness, protocol and etiquette.
  3. Preferably senior staff with minimum 5 years in event and sponsorship planning and management, public relations-related field and/or customer service or within the hospitality industry.
  4. Have the ability to effectively communicate complex and distinctive concepts in a clear and concise manner.
  5. Strong ability to work independently while being an integral team member.
  6. Highly motivated to work in demanding, very deadline-driven environment with the ability to work additional hours as job and peak business deadlines require.
