RESOURCE DEFINITION MANAGER PT. Meares Soputan Mining

PT. Meares Soputan Mining is a Mining Industry with main office at Jakarta, representative at Manado, and Project Site located at Toka Tindung – North Sulawesi, to run our seamless operation, we need qualified candidate to support our operation as :

RESOURCE DEFINITION MANAGER (CODE : RDM-VIII/18) 

(Location : Toka Tindung)

Manage all Mine Resource Definition Geology functions to ensure good quality data is collected for Resource Estimation and that Resource Models are updated and supplied to the Mining Department in time for LOM plans to be completed for the Budgeting process. Update and interpret the drilling results into the Exploration Models and plan and execute drilling programs to test the latest interpretations as required.

Duties : 

• Plan and Manage Resource Definition Drilling Programs
• Complete Resource Models to JORC standard and SRN requirement. 
• Update Mineralization and Exploration Models
• Produce Yearly Budget and Quarterly Forecasts
• Monitor Costs and maintain cost control.
• Plan QAQC programs in all areas.
• Monitor quality of the geological data.
• Supervise and mentor geologists and technical staff.
• Maintain close liaisons with the Mining Dept. for LOM planning.
• Liaise with Mine Geology so can monitor modelling performance and requirements.
• Maintain high levels of Safety, Environmental and Community standards.
• Provide technical support to Business Development Dept.
• In assessing projects as required.

Requirements: 

1. Graduated from University or equivalent 
2. Broad understanding of all geological aspects or Mining, Resource Development and Exploration.
3. Has more than 15 years Mine/Resource definition/Exploration geology experience in Gold and metalliferous mines. 
4. High level of geological interpretation skills for input into Resource Modelling.
5. Good understanding of Resource Modelling practices and geostatistics.
6. Experience in controls of gold mineralisation in epithermal environments.
7. High level understanding of RC and diamond drilling practices.
8. Understand all requirements of QAQC programs in all aspects of Resource Definition.
9. Planning, Budgeting, Cost Control and Monitoring
10. Proactive in OHSE, Training and mentoring activities.
11. Liaise at a high level with all Site and Company Management. 
12. Able to demonstrate the awareness of corporate safety & environmental practices.
