Mining Business Development Manager

As a committed professional with relevant business development experience gained within the mining industry, you will have well developed business development skills plus the personal attributes to fulfil the requirements of the role.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Corporate

• Identify and generate potential business investment opportunities in mining industry
• Support the Senior management to complete various work-scopes related to existing and new investments
• Proactively analyse market opportunities, trends, competitive positioning, industry forecasts and business implications to influence product / solution roadmaps
• Provide leadership for high- profile projects / investment opportunities
• Communicate, deal and negotiate with multiple stakeholders in creating relationships of trust
• Maintain and always keep update with changes in mining industry legislation and regulation
• Supervise strategic mining projects to ensure achievement of business strategies

Investments

• Working in and influencing alignment within a multidisciplinary project team (legal, financial and economic)
• Identifying critical risks and issues within existing and new investments
• Providing advice and support to the Company’s asset operating teams

REQUIREMENTS:

• Relevant University degree
• Proven Mining industry experience at a senior level (min 10 years)
• Track record of successful business development within Indonesia
• Exposure to both Indonesian and international companies and projects preferred
• Willing to learn and be open to new approaches
• Able to demonstrate true leadership abilities, lead teams as well as be able to work independently
• High degree of computer literacy
• High degree of professional ethics and integrity
• Sound judgement and ability to analyse situations and information
• Excellent lobbying capabilities
• Willing to travel extensively

• Excellent communicator – both written and spoken English and Indonesian.
