PT. Sumbawa Timur Mining (“The Company”) in relation to the exploration project being managed by PT. Vale Eksplorasi Indonesia in the Company’s Contract of Work area under the Management Agreement, dated 23 October 2009. The company is currently seeking the potential candidate of:

Position Title:

Procurement and Logistics Officers – Indonesia

Position Level: Staff

Position purpose:
To assist site operation’s in the purchasing of good and services. That is to review and confirm user purchase requests, obtain quotes from supplier and conduct economic comparison analysis and make supplier selection. Then prepare purchase orders, obtain authorisation and submit to supplier and track order to delivery. Do all physical and electronic filing of quotes, analysis, PO and material requests.

Role dimensions
General:
To ensure the functions and activities comply with Vale Procurement policy and normal support duties and administrative processes of

Specific:
Assisting the Procurement and Contract Specialist system for VEI-STM Indonesia to support on-going exploration projects at Huu, Dompu – NTB and upcoming projects.

Main challenges
Comply with Vale procurement norms and policies and ensure all documents are files physically and electronically.

Main responsibilities

• Receive User purchase material request and clarify request with user
• Research and identify supplier and request quotes
• Do economic analysis and select the preferred supplier
• Inform User of the preferred supplier
• Write Purchase Order and send to supplier
• Track order to delivery
• File all documents above physically and electronically
• Develop suppler data base

Person Specification
Formal Education

• Bachelor Degree in Management or Equivalent
• Must have good English
• Must have good excel skill

Work Experience

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience working in a role of procurement management and logistics arrangement
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a team
• Familiar with PO process, Tender process, International Contracts, procurement process.
