We are seeking experienced people for the following position:

SURVEYOR – 925292
(Papua Based)

An excellent opportunity for Surveyor with specialist UAV Operator experience has arisen to join our Survey and Technology Department. Based on site in Papua, with roster 12 weeks on site – 2 weeks off site. Fix term Contract with potential of permanent hire once the project completed.

Some of your duties will include:

• Operating UAV for Mapping, including quantity determination and reporting using various software
• Coordination with site team and Jakarta team to achieved project goal
• Provide general survey services for project such as, Terrestrial mapping with Total Station also GPS RTK
• Develop and implement efficient practices using available resources and technology
• Identify and recommend alternate solutions, which may provide more efficient outcomes and greater profitability

What skills and experience do you need?

• Minimum of Bachelor degree of Geodetic Engineering
• 1 year experience operating drone/UAV for mapping
• Proficient in Imagery data processing, as a part of UAV Mapping using software (Pix4D/Agisoft Photoscan/Global Mapper/ArcGIS)
• Proficient in Engineering and Surveying Principles, Surveying Equipment (Total Station, GPS, Laser scanner, etc.) and Engineering Surveying software (Autocad/surpac/Vulcan/ Terramodel), industry standards and best practice, computer data management and manipulation (Perform a proper data processing); understand and implement the Design & Project Management Plan; team culture and experience in design management
• Independent and mature personality, self-motivated, results driven and good negotiation skills; high initiative; performance driven; good planning skill; good communication skills and proficient in written and spoken English
