CIVIL SUPERVISOR

Execute, monitor and control the construction activities of the project in order to ensure that it is completed on time and to the total satisfaction of the client whilst achieving tender profit margins and meeting the safety and quality expectations of the company.

Requirement:

  • Willing to Work extended hours to ensure project completion on time.
  • Min. 5 years previous working experience in constructions project in a supervisory or similar capacity.
  • Computer literate. including working knowledge of drawings systems
  • Knowledge of building codes.
  • Ability to understand and interpret construction drawings and documents.
  • Ability to maintain accurate and details records
  • Organizational, and supervisory skills
  • Analytical, reasoning and problem solving skills

Responsibilities:

  • Review inspection reports, drawing, and plans.
  • Design complex structures and reviews the designs of other engineers to assure specified engineering requirements
  • Inspects and evaluates location survey data to assure that conditions, existing structures and underground facilities on the site are fully disclosed and accounted for in drawings and resulting plans.
  • Reviews calculations for projects, clearance, drainage requirements, span length, stresses and reinforcement demands
  • Analyzes data, comparing against specified and computed values, and suggesting changes and improvements where needed.
  • Provide assistance to budget personnel in preparing cost estimates.
  • Investigates casualties or failure of structures. Documents findings and recommends solutions to problems and/ or procedures to prevent re-occurance.
  • Follow and implement HSE programs including Environmental Management System to ensure the effectiveness of the programs conform to official standard and requirements.
  • Acts as liaison with clients assuring satisfaction with progress and quality.
  • Informs higher management of business opportunities and problems which may impact on the company’s business
  • Analyzes assigned tasks to determine estimates of man-hours and material needed for completion.
  • Provides technical support and technical guidance to associate engineers and personnel.
  • 13.Recommend type and material for structures.

 

EARTHWORK SUPERVISOR

Monitor and supervise site Earthworks activities to ensure such activities are conducted in a safe and timely manner conform with quality of work is of a standard that optimises availability.

Requirements:

  • Work flexible hours to accommodate job requirements
  • Min. Diploma degree with 5 years experiences in engineering area
  • Good analytical and supervisory skills
  • Good communication in English
  • Possess broad knowledge in Earthworks system

Responsibilities:

  • Exercise, direct, and ensure a safe work environment in the work area at all times; and ensure all store business work processes and activities are all done in safe works practices.
  • Develop and follow JSA’s for all tasks
  • Assist Project Engineer with the development of a work schedule including parts, materials and manpower to be incorporated in the short term detailed execution plans
  • Prepare and submit the regular report required by Project Controls to ensure report is submitted in timely manner.
  • Supervise Foremen activities to ensure work is technically correct and performed in a safe and cost effective manner
  • Examine and investigate all variances from target to avoid bigger lost in both cost and time consumed.
  • Monitor PM schedule implementation to ensure all PM scheduled work is completed in accordance with work instructions and schedules
  • Proactively identify defects and register them via work requests in order to have an appropriate and prompt action.
  • Diagnose failure symptoms and determine maintenance of Earthworks structures to effectively and efficiently rectify them
  • Develop and determine work procedure, work load balance , and also coordinate work unit with other unit.
  • Maintaining and implementing HSE programs including Environmental Management System to ensure the effectiveness of the programs conform to official standard and requirements.

 

EARTHWORK SUPERINTENDENT

Monitor and control Earthworks resources (people and equipment) in field operation in term of support construction manager to ensure production is achieved in accordance with project parameters, project schedule, budget, in compliance with company’s project safety and environmental policy.

Requirements:

  • Good understanding & implementation of earthwoks methods
  • Creative thinking and ability to manage the work systems
  • Min. senior high school
  • Min. 5 years experiences as Electrical & Instrument Supervisor
  • Good leadership

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor, control and supervise labor in a day to day basis, direct subcontract, and all non-labor resources in order to ensure project completed on schedule, conform with the standard of quality specified.
  • Provide leadership and direction to all Earthworks operations team including monitor their performance in order to maintain and enhance team performance.
  • Monitor and control the implementation of Earthworks plan and manage that all necessary resources are available at site in order to meet the construction schedule through regular construction meetings.
  • Understanding the basics of the project budget, monitor and control the Earthworks budget to ensure that costs do not exceed budget.
  • Initiates, develops and improve the implementation of construction methodology and equipment utilization to improve efficiency.
  • Review client specifications and drawings to ensure the requirements defined are incorporated into the work.
  • Support and assist the Project Safety Superintendent in actively promoting a safety culture and awareness in order to enhance safety awareness among personnel and prevent LTI.
  • Discuss pertinent topics at daily pre-start meetings and weekly toolbox meetings in order to Provide a safe and healthy work environment
  • Provide Construction Manager and Project Manager with construction schedules, cost forecasts and progress statistics in order to updated current situation.

 

RIGGING & SCAFFOLDING FOREMAN

Monitor and coordinate rigging and scaffolding dalily activities to ensure rigger and scaffold work are performed in a technically correct and efficient manner, conform to company’s standard and policies.

Requirements:

  • Min. High School degree.
  • Min. 3 years experiences as a Rigging & Scaffolding Foreman min. in Plant / Process environment or similar capacity.
  • BP Migas certified and Basic Rigging certified would be an advantage.
  • Knowledge in various rigging, lifting, and scaffolding techniques.
  • Proactive safety attitude.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and supervise of the activities of the Rigger and Scaffold, including preparation of tools and Consumables require establishing and maintaining the Project.
  • Responsible in maintain and repair rigging and scaffolding system in Site/Project.
  • Check and examine all rigging and scaffolding equipment location and economizing by using test equipment standard and observe its function.
  • Conduct formal annual performance review all direct reports, identifying strengths and weaknesses, training needs and agreeing upon goals for the future.
  • Provide ongoing coaching, mentoring and performance counseling as required for all direct reports.
  • Prepare and submitt reporting required.
  • Communicate and monitor safety procedures implementation in work environment and process in order to maintain safety awareness at all times and adhere to Petrosea guidelines and regulations in this respect.
  • Review and analyze of failure to plant, monitor degradation and report pending equipment failure for compilation into backlog.

 

EARTHWORK FOREMAN

To lead and supervise all earthwork jobs for maintenance and new works all area in a safe and efficient manner.

Requirements:

  • Min. Diploma degree, preferably from Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • Min. 3 years professional experience and certified Earthwork Company preferable
  • Have strong leadership to supervise and manage, including disciplinary action if required
  • Able to develop and encourage subordinates, motivate by respect and avoid favouritism
  • Ability to communicate effectively with Clients, subordinates, superiors and other third parties related to the Project
  • Able to communicate verbally in English
  • Understand HSE principle in all aspect of Base Operation
  • Must be available for on-call duty in emergency situations
  • Willing to work extended hours to meet project targets

Responsibilities:

  • Attend Pre shift handover meeting and take a note to prioritizing work base on MSR list
  • Pro actively to have a positive feedback & questions during handover shift meeting
  • Daily walk patrol to maintain housekeeping & Safety issues finding
  • Enforce to riggers to consistently checking lifting tools and ensure it is has valid color code, ID, SWL, and proper certification.
  • Rejecting any lifting equipments which do not comply with offshore standard requirements.
  • Arrange manpower and determine proper equipment for the work purpose.
  • Provide JHA and Risk Assessment for non routine operation and conduct PTO for the task being executed when required.
  • Ensure all of control stated in the JHA and/or Risk Assessment is implemented and right to stop the job if identified is unsafe.
  • Choose on the most efficient, safest and cost effective method of moving, loading, and unloading materials as per WI/Procedures.
  • Providing the rigger/operator prior to starting the job with appropriate PPE.
  • Ensure all rigger, operator and signalman have been traineed and certified on equipment being used.
  • Ensure all person involved in the job has been received socialization of Appropriate JHA and SOP prior to work executed.
  • Accurately record all equipment and labour hours.
  • Ensure that only properly qualified & authorised personnel operate equipment.
  • To assist supervisor to supervise & monitor all lifting and transport activities.
  • Ensure all operators complete pre-start check sheet, closely monitor these sheets.
  • Work with supervisor to arrange operator / rigger manpower.
  • Lead on attendance and time keeping.
  • Distribute office information to operator / rigger.
  • Maintain a high level of housekeeping.
  • Ensure that all equipment is used in accordance with its inherent design capability.
  • Ensure equipment is not operated with a known defect that is or could be detrimental to safe operation.
  • Ensure equipment defects are reported and were removed from work area.
  • Leadership: Leading by example to improve workforce’s time keeping and discipline
  • Attend and participate in :
    • Pre – Start Briefing
    • Daily Handover Meeting
    • Weekly HSE Toolbox Meeting
    • Site Safety Inspection
  • Maintain a high level of housekeeping.
  • Maintain full compliance to POSB Waste Segregation Policy.
  • Reduces energy consumption in area of responsibility by eliminating the unnecessary use of resources; water and power.
  • Identify any environmental issues in area of area responsibility (regular audit schedule).

 

CIVIL FOREMAN

Monitor and coordinate civil daily activities to ensure civil work is performed in a technically correct and efficient manner, conform with company’s standard and policies.

Requirements:

  • Proactive safety attitude
  • Min. 3 years experiences in Civil engineering.
  • Min. High School degree
  • Good knowledge in heavy machine technology
  • Understand and ability in using tools, special tools, amd workshop facilities
  • Experienced in maintain heavy machine and understand manual shop, partbook, operation and maintenance manual, and other reference, in orde to do daily control, inspection dan program schedule overhaul, repair and overhaul, and also troubleshooting / Diagnose

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and supervise Civil activities regarding tools requirement, sparepart, and consumable goods and also manpower planning in establishment, maintenance, and repairement of Site.
  • Responsible in maintain and repair Civil system in Site/Project.
  • Check and examine all mechanical location and equipment and economizing by using test equipment standard and observe its function.

  • Monitor and maintain Work Order (WO) to ensure Work Order information is processed in accordance with BMP.
