We are currently taking applicants for the following position:

Asset Training System Coordinator
(Assignment: Balikpapan Based)

Develop, implement / improve, and audit Asset training system applicable across sites (e.g. especially Petrosea new sites & projects start-up) including system to manage training records, site requirements, and nomination processes through provision/delivery of training programs for personnel interact with AMG & supervisors for work quality/safety roles; implement and monitor training system where applicable for others.

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in any major, preferably in Technical and Mechanical engineering
• Minimum of 5 years site project experience (including Coordinator Experience, Development & Delivery of training programs and materials)
• Work experienced for incident prevention & HSE loss control
• Proficiency in integrated systems for quality/safety management
• High standard of personal conduct & preparedness to share knowledge
• Quick learner & adopt to changes & new situations
• Good Leadership & communication/presentation skill –preferably having a minimum of 3 years previous supervisory roles/job experienced
• Computer literate and good command in English both verbal & written
• Willing to travel and/or work extended hours to meet the objectives as to fill in a relief role whilst the site training instructor/coordinator is unavailable
• Demonstrates good knowledge of Mining equipment capabilities and applications
• Good knowledge of best practices in Project Management
• Good analytical and problem solving skills. Attention to detail.
• Fluency in English an advantage. Must display a willingness to develop proficiency, both oral and written
• Willing to work flexible hours to meet Project requirements

Responsibilities:

• Actively promote & share knowledge for others to maintain a positive safety behavioural attitude to staff members by demonstrating communication / compliance with HSE Scorecards.
• Be alert for and correct hazardous situations and conditions observed, encountered or of which is made aware through corrective and preventive actions by means of initiation / establishment to implementation of administrative/procedural texts approaches.
• Develop / improve training / assessment programs & control / systems across sites that provide;
• Immediate alignment with HSE risk controls for Asset sites, & Consistently skilled people (of both Asset & others who interact with AMG at work)
• Implement training systems on new projects as the sites establish where applicable for all business line and train / monitor quality / practicability from site staff in the use of these systems as follows but not limited to,
• Training Data Recording Systems.
• Nomination and Selection Processes.
• Pre-employment testing processes.
• Personnel’s qualification/competence training.
• Develop / implement training programs that develop the skills of staff so they are ready to take on additional responsibility (e.g. work quality / safety).
• Develop & maintain open and effective communication processes at all levels
• Demonstrate effective interpersonal skills by establishing working / cordial relationships & by demonstrating effort to co-operate with employees at all levels by ensuring a thorough understanding of their learning requirements
• Deal with issues at the workplace in a flexible and co-operative manner except emergency situation that required controls of loss due to inevitable incident if any occurs.
• Provide immediate support/action for HSE loss control purposes in case of inevitability due to incidents
