PT Agincourt Resources

Martabe Gold Mine is managed and operated by PT Agincourt Resources. The mine covers an area of 30 km2 that falls under the sixth generation of Contract of Work (Cow) covering a total area of 1,639 km2.

The resource base on 31 December 2015 includes 7.4 Mos. of gold and 69 Mos. of silver. Production commenced at Martabe on 24 July 2012. The operating capacity of Martabe Gold Mine is 4.5 tap ore to produce in excess of 250,000 oz. of gold and 2-3 Mos. of silver per annum.

PT Agincourt Resources engages approximately 2,300 employees and contractors, more than 98% Indonesians, of which 71% were recruited from South Tapanuli and other regions in North Sumatra.

To strengthen the existing management team and to ensure the achievement of the company objectives, the Martabe Gold Mine is looking for candidate to fill the role:

TEACHER - TRANSLATOR (TD 1701003)

This position will be based at Jakarta Office and reports directly to the Learning & Development Superintendent.

This position would be responsible for :

• The teaching role will consist of the delivery of English Language training to PTAR employees based on role-specific competency needs. Levels, based on the Central European Framework will be between A1 to C2. The incumbent will be heavily involved in curriculum and syllabus design and develop continuous assessment tools. ESP courses, e.g., Report Writing will also be designed specifically on client needs.
• The role of the Translator is to perform the duties of translating various amounts of technical documents from English into Indonesian. There will also be documents that will need to be translated from Indonesian to English. Verbal translation during presentations and meetings will also be required.

Candidates for this role would be expected to have the following qualifications and experience:

• Bachelor degree in English Language - Bachelor of Arts or EFL/TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language).
• Minimum 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Has Certificate in English Language Training (UCLES).
• A current IELTS (International English Language Testing System) level of 7.
• Familiar with communicative teaching methodology and experience in teaching.
• Have the ability to demonstrate in deliver the English language programs in multiple skill levels
• Highly motivated to work in a demanding, very deadline-driven environment with the ability to work additional hours as job and peak business deadlines require
• Good organization and time management skills
