G-Resources is an Asia-Pacific gold company, based and listed in Hong Kong, and is operating the Martabe Gold Mine in North Sumatera. The open cut mine, with an average strip ratio of less than 1.4:1, and a conventional processing circuit incorporating jaw crushing, SAG and ball milling and CIL, processes in excess of 4.5mtpa to produce greater than 250,000 ounces of gold and 3 million ounces of silver annually. To strengthen the existing management team and to ensure the achievement of the company objectives, the Martabe Gold Mine is looking for candidate to fill the role:
PROJECT ELECTRICAL SUPPORT ENGINEER (PRO 0746)
This position will be based at Martabe site and reports directly to Senior Project Engineer.
The Projects Electrical Development Engineer is responsible for providing support to the Maintenance Departments Projects Engineering team to execute projects in a safe, planned and cost effective way by suppling professional administrative support.
These task include:
- Assist in the development of scopes of work and tender packages technical specification for projects as directed by the Senior Projects Engineer.
- Source supplier data and quotes for project related activities in-line with PTAR policies as directed by the Senior Projects Engineer.
- Provide support for basic electrical engineering, conceptual designs and drawings for in-house projects.
- Perform or supervise QA/QC activities for fabrication and installation of electrical equipment as directed by the Senior Projects Engineer.
- Produce and maintain detailed project plans and schedules for each project to ensure the efficient and timely execution of all PTAR Maintenance Department capital and operational projects.
- Project documentation control, ensuring project information is stored and maintained in the PTAR Document Management System in the appropriate format.
- Enter detailed Work Request / Work Orders into the Pronto CMMS for all project activities that utilise PTAR Maintenance Department resources.
- Produce, control and file project document transmits to ensure all incoming and outgoing correspondences relating to each projects are correctly managed.
- Maintain the Projects Register for all non-maintenance project activists performed by the PTAR Maintenance Department.
- Prepare data for the preparation of Project Key Performance Indicates.
- Prepare and maintain project Gantt charts and schedules that accurately represent project structure, activates, resources and time lines.
- Maintain project spreadsheet, MS Project, cost models, Pronto data and any information as directed by the Senior Projects Engineer.
Candidates for this role would be expected to have the following qualifications and experience:
- Indonesian Bachelor Degree (4 year) in Electrical Engineering.
- Desirable Studies in Project Management or second engineering field.
- 5 years or more site based electrical engineering project administration roles in mineral processing or heavy industry.
- Site based experience, project administration, engineering, management or construction of mineral processing plants.
- CIL gold plant experience.
- Use of Pronto Maintenance Management System.
- Practical involvement in site based construction of mineral process, materials handling, civil or electrical construction projects.
- Working knowledge of design standards and Indonesian regulation requirements.
- Significant experience in the planning and scheduling of mineral processing, materials handling, heavy industry projects across multiple disciplines.
- Computer literate with MS Excel, MS Project, AutoCAD, Scheduling packages and Maintenance Management System (Pronto or MIMS).
- High level of work ethic, be able to effectively communicate with all staff and display a high degree of respect to all stakeholders and their cultures.
- Be able to communicate in Basic English.
