Location: Indonesia - Central Kalimantan

Reporting to the Superintendent HSE Execution, this position is to assist the Superintendent HSE Execution in providing a service of Health & Safety subject matter expertise, guidance, surveillance, governance, and day-to-day onsite monitoring of the Health & Safety Management System.  Also to focus on implementing Health & Safety related-programs, monitoring, inspection, and audit in accordance with BHP Billiton Group Level Document (GLD) and Indonesian Statutory HSES requirements, and to achieve the Company's commitment to conduct all activities with zero harm to people and environment.

To be considered for this position, you must have a minimum D3 and preferred Bachelor or Post-Graduate degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Engineering, Chemistry or other relevant parties and at least 5+ years' experience in exploration, construction or mining operation; be familiar with the Health and Safety management system OHSAS 18001 and to conduct / facilitate a Risk Assessment, in addition to conducting an incident investigation;  have a good understanding of local and regional Health & Safety of the work area, good presentation and writing skills, ability to work in remote area with minimum supervision, awareness on local culture and cross-cultural communication, and English proficiency related to functional understanding.
