Specialist Training Mechanical

Has arisen to join our Training & Development Dept. Residentially based in Balikpapan and reporting to Supervisor Trade Training.

To serving this position you will be responsible for :

1. The scopes of your role will include but not limited to train & assess apprentices and TCI personnel in all aspects of mechanical in order to achieve maximum productivity with a high focus on safety and to ensure that TCI training requirements for tradesman personnel are being conducted in accordance with the TMS
2. Plan Heavy Equipment training activities with minimal disruption to production activities in order that training facilities and resources are optimized
3. Actively involved in maintain and monitor of training equipment used for training activities and provide report to superiors when noncompliance found
4. Actively involved in update/review of training handout, PowerPoint slides and written/practical assessment to TCI's TMS regulation, Audit, investigation, customers need.

To be successful in this role you will need to :

1. have Heavy earth moving equipment technical codes including truck and/or excavator/dozer/grader/wheel loader; Certificate IV in Workplace Training. Previous experience in a similar role
2. Minimum of 7 years' experience within the mining industry as heavy equipment tradesman; and familiar with Training & development.  Proficient in computer literacy, presentation skill
3. Superior communication skills-written & verbal, Present arguments, facts and instructions in a clear, fluent and convincing manner
4. Coaching/mentoring skill
5. Have Innovation & initiative
6. Teamwork - works effective with others and relates to colleagues and trainees
7. Confident
8. Proactive
9. Responsible & adaptable.
