PT Meares Soputan Mining

PT Meares Soputan Mining is developing the Toka Tindung Gold Project in Manado - North Sulawesi. Applicants are invited for the following position:

SECURITY MANAGER

Reporting to the Operation Director, the Security Manager is to manage and lead Security Services in the fulfilment of the Tokatindung Gold Project Security Management Plan, throughout all operating locations within PT Meares Soputan Mining and PT Tambang Tondano Nusajaya.

Requirements:

1. Qualifications
   • Postgraduate degree in a human services, policing discipline, or business from internationally recognized university.
   • Has a legal certificate of Gada Pratama, Gada Madya and Gada Utama.
   • Tertiary qualifications in intelligence or experience which matches such qualifications.
   • At least eight years experience in a similar supervisory role in remote mining or resource industry
2. Responsibilities
   • Perform Security Risk Assessment Process and Reviews
   • Undertake effective Information Gathering and Analysis
   • Uphold Voluntary Principles on Security and Human Rights
   • Undertake reviews of and manage the Companys control frameworks
   • Undertake Incident investigations
   • Manage Security team and budgets
3. Personal Attributes
   • Ability to adapt to competing differences of external stakeholders
   • Ability to communicate effectively with regional and district police, military and community leaders.
   • Excellent level of written and spoken communications.
   • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access and Visio.
   • Possess current driving license.
   • High level of proficiency in spoken and written English
   • At ease in speaking publicly to a select group of VIPs and / or a large audience.
   • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships
   • Ability to work as part of a results driven team
   • Physically fit to endure sustained periods of exertion
