PT Nusa Halmahera Minerals (PTNHM)

Newcrest and PT Aneka Tambang (Persero) or Antam formed a joint venture in 1994 to explore for gold in Halmahera island. In that same year, the joint venture formally recognised economic gold grades at Gosowong. In 1997 Newcrest and Antam established PTNHM and a Contract of Work between the Government of Indonesia and PTNHM was signed on 28 April 1997, with engineering, feasibility and environmental impact studies completed thereafter. The first gold dore was poured at Gosowong in July 1999.

Underground Mechanic (UMC)

Requirements :

1. Minimum Senior High School or similar
2. Minimum 3 (three) years of working experience in similar role
3. Familiar with Underground Equipment maintenance (Sandvik Jumbo Drill, Sandvik Loader TORO 1400/LH514, Normet Equipment)
4. Hard worker, initiative and able to work as a team
5. Willing to maintain a high level of safety awareness in the work place
6. Agree and committed to perform  the 5 (five) Principles of the Newcrest Values i.e. “Work Together, Care about People, Honesty and Integrity, Innovation & Problem Solving, Seek High Performance”

Instrument Technician (IT)

Requirements :

1. Minimum Diploma in Electrical Engineering
2. Willing to maintain a high level of safety awareness in the work place
3. Hold instrumentation training certificate from recognized body
4. 5 (five) year experience in similar position
5. Familiar with Electrical, Instrumentation and Safety standard regulation
6. Experience in the latest Allen Bradley PLC, Citect HMI control system hardware and software
7. Good communication skill and good attitude
8. Committed and agree to perform  the 5 (five) Principles of the Newcrest Values i.e. “Work Together, Care about People, Honesty and Integrity, Innovation & Problem Solving, Seek High Performance”.

Miner Professional (MP)

Requirements :

1. Minimum Senior High School or similar
2. Minimum 10 (ten) years of underground operational experience
3. Holds Blaster-2 certification, Rigging license, and Alimak Raise Climber license are mandatory for this position
4. Experience in operating manual bogger operation, Truck and other mobile UG equipments is preferable
5. Has extensive experience in underground construction work, Shaft Sinking, Alimak skills, raise jobs and Ore Pass Rehab
6. Has capability to operate Overhead Pendant Control Crane
7. Fit for underground work environment
8. Able to perform work area inspection
9. Agree and committed to perform  the 5 (five) Principles of the Newcrest Values i.e. “Work Together, Care about People, Honesty and Integrity, Innovation & Problem Solving, Seek High Performance”

Production & Project Engineer (PPE)

Requirements :

1. Minimum Bachelor degree (S1) in Mine Engineering
2. Minimum 2 (two) years of working experience in underground mine
3. Experience in using underground mine planning software is preferable
4. Experience in using underground mine drill and blast software is preferable
5. Familiar with Pit Ram, Minetec application and familiar in basic production analysis
6. Keen to organize & drive new and/or improvement projects
7. Holds Blaster-2 certification is preferable
8. Fluent in Bahasa and English
9. Able to construct structural production and project report for management at all level
10. Literate in windows-based software operation
11. Agree and committed to perform  the 5 (five) Principles of the Newcrest Values i.e. “Work Together, Care about People, Honesty and Integrity, Innovation & Problem Solving, Seek High Performance”

Mining Engineer (ME)

Requirements :

1. Minimum Bachelor degree (S1) in Mine Engineering
2. Minimum 2 (two) years of working experience in underground mining operation
3. Preferably holds Front Line Operational Supervisor certification (POP)
4. Experience in operating Mine 24D / Surpac / similar software for mine and blast design
5. Fluent in Bahasa and English
6. Show proven ability to generate work systems and procedures 
7. Able to apply Indonesian Mining Regulations
8. Has a displayed history of leadership and safety
9. Agree and committed to perform  the 5 (five) Principles of the Newcrest Values i.e. “Work Together, Care about People, Honesty and Integrity, Innovation & Problem Solving, Seek High Performance”
