G-Resources is an Asia-Pacific gold company, based and listed in Hong Kong, and is operating the Martabe Gold Mine in North Sumatera. The open cut mine, with an average strip ratio of less than 1.4:1, and a conventional processing circuit incorporating jaw crushing, SAG and ball milling and CIL, processes in excess of 4.5mtpa to produce greater than 250,000 ounces of gold and 3 million ounces of silver annually. To strengthen the existing management team and to ensure the achievement of the company objectives, the Martabe Gold Mine is looking for candidate to fill the role:

Junior Mine Geologist (MG 0314)

This position will be based at Martabe Project and reports directly to Senior Mine Geologist / Mine Geologist, this will be FIFO roster of 4 weeks on and 2 weeks off.

The role of this position is responsible for covering grade control activity such as field mapping, RC drilling sampling, blast hole sampling, ore spotting and additional projects.

Candidates for this role would be expected to have the following qualifications and experience:

1. Tertiary qualification in Geology.
2. Up to one years experience in related job areas.
3. Good leadership especially in field work.
4. Familiar with field mapping, drilling and sampling activities.
5. Willing to work hard in the field job and trainable.
6. Good communication and reporting in English.

STAKEHOLDER RELATIONS MANAGER (ER 0313)

This position will be based in Jakarta and reports directly to the External Relations Director.

The role & responsibility of the Stakeholder Relations Manager:

• Ensuring stakeholders are recognised as partners in the development and delivery of the Martabe Gold Mine
• Developing and implementing stakeholder relations and engagement strategies including informing, consulting and involving key stakeholders and evaluating the effectiveness of these strategies
• Advising senior management of issues and/or risks to stakeholder relationships as soon as they arise so risks can be managed effectively
• Ensuring that management and staff understand the value of, and are committed to the genuine participation of stakeholders in the development and long term operation of the Martabe Gold Mine
• Ensuring that strategies and tactics are designed to meet stakeholder needs with a well understood customer-focus
• Managing the measurement of stakeholder satisfaction; developing, implementing strategies to improve levels of satisfaction
• Interacting with expert-consultants particularly related to Social Impact Assessment and public participation programs
• Identifying the gaps and overlaps of existing policies/rules/regulations that can impact on the mines’ performance; proposing recommendations
• Continuously liaising with other related departments to ensure that the mine is operating in compliance with the applied rules and regulations.

Candidate for this role is expected to have the following qualifications and experience:

1. Preferably holds an undergraduate degree and at least 10 years of relevant experience at managerial level
2. Possess a diverse, broad range of network with the governments and NGOs at the regional, provincial and national levels; as well as with the academic associations, unions, and business chambers
3. Proficiency in writing and oral communication in English; proven ability to write in a variety of formats and to communicate with confidence in public forums
4. Knowledge of the applicable rules & regulations of the Republic of Indonesia especially related to the Environmental Law & Regulations
5. Experience in working with multinational companies and has in-depth understanding about mining company’s operations are added value
6. Knowledge of Mine Safety and Inspection Act & Regulations
7. Strong negotiation, analytical and conceptual skills
8. Strong leadership and influential capacitating & team building skills
9. Able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
10. Willing to travel and work on site as necessary.
