Be part of a young dynamic resource company with a clear vision for the future. PT. Sorikmas Mining, a subsidiary of Sihayo Gold, has recently defined a +1 mil ounce gold resource and intends to become an Indonesian Gold Miner and continue exploration.

Reporting to the Resource Development Manager and the Exploration Manager, your role and key responsibilities will be:

Accounting Supervisor

Responsibilities:

• To manage the accounting team servicing 3 Indonesian mining companies
• To ensure compliance with accounting standards, monthly management and ad hoc reporting needs are met
• To develop accounting staff to their full potential.
• To ensure the systems and procedures are in compliance with the company policies, acceptable accounting practices and applicable regulations

• Posses master degree in Accounting with 10 years experience
• Broad, in-depth understanding of accounting principles, theories, concepts, and practices of the Recognised professional qualifications in Accounting, with detailed knowledge of Indonesian Accounting Standards
• Exposure to the mining industry and an understanding of related management reporting requirements
• Experience using ERP systems extensively.
• Managerial experience is essential.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to influence and present to senior management will also be critical.
• Ability to communicate in English and Bahasa Indonesia
