PT Multi Harapan Utama (PT MHU) is the coal mining company was established since 1986 as PKP2B (Perjanjian Kontrak Karya Pengusahaan Pertambangan Batubara). Our concessions area in Samarinda and Kutai Kertanegara (East Kalimantan). We are seeking for qualified and highly motivated candidates from multiple disciplines to join into experienced team in a fast paced environment.

Community Relation Officer

(Code: CRO)

Main Accountabilities;

• Conduct stakeholder mapping in the area of assignment, database creation and ensure that up to date database.
• To identify potential impacts of the company's operations on the community in the area concerned, both positive and negative impacts, and make proposals in the form of mitigation
• As a representative or ambassador of the company in carrying out regular good relationship between the company and the surrounding community, in partnership beneficial to both parties, and also routinely explain to the public and stakeholders in the area of proficiency level about the general operations and policies existing companies relation to society
• Perform proper management of the administration and communication in receipt of complaints or demands of society follow the standard provisions contained in the company in the region assigned
• If necessary, negotiating or bargaining with the public on a small scale and regularly associated with the demand of the community
• Strengthen and empowerment of the youth organizations and communities organizations in the area, in an effort to increase the capacity of the resources to optimize the synergy between the Company and the community, in a mutually beneficial relationship.

Requirements;

• Minimum graduate from Bachelor Degree (S1) in Anthropology, social / economic, or related majors
• Having a minimum of 5 years experiences, especially in handling public relation (include 3 years in the same role or in mining company)
• Having good presentation
• Have an understanding of the culture surrounding communities
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation, focusing on the process and outcomes, and ready to work under pressure.

Government Relation Officer

(Code: GRO)

Main Accountabilities;

• Perform administrative process of licensing activities planned in coordination with the relevant departments in the company internally and related agencies in government (supporting document preparation, support activities, etc.)
• Conduct stakeholder mapping in all relevant institutions in the interest of maintaining good relations between the company and the government, both in the scope of the consultation and the necessary permits in support of activities of the company
• To coordinate with relevant departments internally to help ensure that all activities of the company to follow the rules and applicable licensing and planned
• Supporting and facilitate all public activities of company that related with relevant agencies in the government.
• Assisting and supporting on government activities related to the activities of the company's operations (visits, inspection, etc)

Requirements;

• Minimum graduate from Bachelor Degree (S1) preferably in Social Politic, law or related majors.
• Having a minimum of 5 years experiences, especially in handling permit in District Government public relation (include 3 years in the same role or in mining company).
• Having good ability to Public Relations
• Have an understanding of the general rules governing mining activities and licensing in the area
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation, focusing on the process and outcomes, and ready to work under pressure.
