PT Multi Harapan Utama (PT MHU) is the coal mining company was established since 1986 as PKP2B (Perjanjian Kontrak Karya Pengusahaan Pertambangan Batubara). Our concessions area in Samarinda and Kutai Kertanegara (East Kalimantan). We are seeking for qualified and highly motivated candidates from multiple disciplines to join into experienced team in a fast paced environment.

Mine Rehabilitation Superintendent
(Code: MRS)

Placed: Samarinda

Main Accountabilities:

• Ensuring the implementation of the final disposal reclamation to meet the specification requirements of MHU reclamation.
• Implementation and expansion of the final disposal for reclamation audit program.
• Show the initiative and the ability to coordinate the work with relevant Supervisor in Pit
• Assist to development and implementation of Enviro Management System (EMS)
• Quantify the effectiveness or quality of final disposal for reclamation over time.
• Maintenance of the reclamation database, including annual updates
• Developing of the reclamation GIS to meet the requirements
• Plan the weekly audit program and report the result to Environment Manager
• Ensuring reclamation preparation is carried out according to the approved reclamation plan and the reclamation specification
• Communicate the finding from the audit to the reclamation/operation Supervisor for Action.
• Assist in the achievement of the departments safety targets.
• As required, able for acting as Environment Manager.

Requirements:

• Minimal Bachelor degree in environmental engineering, agricultural, biology
• Having minimum 5 years related experience, include superintendent level
• Proficient in Ms Office (word, excel, power point)
• Able to read mine design and geological maps
• Experienced in budgeting, especially the cost of waste management, equipment rental
• Have experience of EIA (Environmental Impact Analysis) and Proper criteria
• Able to conduct environment risk assessment
• Experienced in project management, time management and reporting skill
• Good communication, assertive, and good interpersonal skill
• Having good negotiation, presentation and leadership skill, able to work under pressure
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Highly motivated and able to work as a part of a team and individually
