G-Resources is an Asia-Pacific gold company, based and listed in Hong Kong, and is operating the Martabe Gold Mine in North Sumatera. The open cut mine, with an average strip ratio of less than 1.4:1, and a conventional processing circuit incorporating jaw crushing, SAG and ball milling and CIL, processes in excess of 4.5mtpa to produce greater than 250,000 ounces of gold and 3 million ounces of silver annually. To strengthen the existing management team and to ensure the achievement of the company objectives, the Martabe Gold Mine is looking for candidate to fill the role:

This position will be based in Martabe Site and SCM Department. Reports directly to Supply & Logistics Manager.
The Deputy Manager Procurement & Contracts is responsible to assist the Supply & Logistic Manager in relation to Martabe site Procurement & Contracts as well as Supporting skills development of the Superintendents within the department. This will include development and maintenance of SOP’s, KPI’s, to plan organize and control the activities of the PTAR Supply Chain Department in order to improve and manage supply and commercial aspects of all services focussing on contracting & procurement throughout all PTAR operations in accordance with PTA standards, policies and procedures, Indonesian Law and Martabe Mine Contract of Work. The position shall ensure a high level of support to user departments through cost effective procurement and contracting, goods procurement and services contract bidding, negotiating, preparation, administration and management and applying an ethical, efficient, risk managed, consistent and cost effective approach at every stage of the supply process.

This position will be based in Martabe Site and SCM Department. Reports directly to Supply & Logistics Manager.
The Deputy Manager Logistics & Materials Management is to manage the logistics and materials management activities for Martabe ensuring that PTAR have continuity of logistics while maintaining adequate stocks of all consumables and spare parts ensuring 24/7 operation of the Martabe operation. Manage the logistics activities and ensuring they are carried out in a safe and environmentally compliant manner while complying with all Indonesian laws and regulations. Managing our Materials Management department responsible for Warehousing and Inventory control ensuring site maintain sufficient stocks of all critically important consumables and spare parts. Interact with all end user departments to ensure our warehouse stocks are aligned with their requirements. Interact with several Government ministries (Transportation, Custom, Environmental, Quarantine, Port Authorities and Mines Department). Responsible to closely manage PTAR’s T&L Contractors for international and domestic cargo containerization, customs clearances, transport, offsite receiving, transporting to designated laydown and warehouse at Martabe. Responsible to manage the EXIM function within the SCM Department ensuring compliance with all Government requirements in regard to import and exports and compliance to Capital Goods Master list procedures and requirements. Responsible to prepare submit and manage PTAR’s Capita Goods Master list. Preparing and maintaining departmental SOP’s and KPI’s ensuring they are aligned with PTAR’s requirement and core values. Building a strong reliable team within the logistic and materials management department while at all times maintaining company core values and compliance.
