PT Dwinad Nusa Sejahtera

PT. Dwinad Nusa Sejahtera, a subsidiary of Australian listed Sumatra Copper & Gold plc (ASX:SUM), is an emerging gold and silver producer in the Regency of Musi Rawas Utara, South Sumatra. The construction of the 420,000tpa processing plant is underway with open pit mining scheduled to start in April 2015 and underground mining in June 2015. Gold and silver production is on track to commence in the fourth quarter of 2015.

This exciting new Tembang gold and silver project has a confirmed reserve of 5 years and is estimated, through further exploration success, to have a potential mine operating life of up to 10 years.

SENIOR MINING LEADERS

To support our open pit, underground mining operation, we invite competent senior leaders in the following areas of expertise:

• Mining Operations (MO)
• Mining Processing (MP)
• Mining Engineering (ME)
• Maintenance (MA)
• Mining Technicai Services (MTS)
• Commerciai (Purchasing, contracts, administration and business analysis) (CO) 

Candidates will be required to have some exposure to the following:

• Development and implementation of international best practice and standards
• Construction and commissioning experience
• Establishment of startup teams,
• Training and development of subordinates
• Excellent organizing skills; and
• The desire to assist in building a successful gold mining business.

SKILLS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• University and/or post graduate qualification
• Minimum of 10 years of work experience in your discipline
• Minimum of 7 years in supervisory/managerial positions
• Strong background in the senior leadership of an international mining company and familiarity with international standards and principles is desirable
• Experience in set-up of new departments
• Proven experience In training and coaching new people
• Excellent English skills - both oral and written expression required

In addition to the above, the successful applicants will demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, high personal values consistent with those of the company and the proven ability to create, develop and operate within a team cultum. An attractive site based 2 weeks on 1 week off router ex Jakarta for management roles is envisaged.
