G-Resources is an Asia-Pacific gold company, based and listed in Hong Kong, and is operating the Martabe Gold Mine in North Sumatera. The open cut mine, with an average strip ratio of less than 1.4:1, and a conventional processing circuit incorporating jaw crushing, SAG and ball milling and CIL, processes in excess of 4.5mtpa to produce greater than 250,000 ounces of gold and 3 million ounces of silver annually. The Martabe Gold Mine is striving to maintain an excellent track record in responsible mining practices, and clear commitment to compliance to mining regulations as well as developing and managing mining activities with the involvement of local communities.

To strengthen the existing management team and to ensure the achievement of the company objectives, the Martabe Gold Mine is looking for candidate to fill the role:

 

MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR PROCESS PLANT (PRO 1185)

This position will be based at Martabe site and Processing Department, working on schedule 4 weeks on; 2 weeks off and reports directly to Mechanical Shift Supervisor.

The role of the Mechanical Supervisor is responsible to :

  • Provide the necessary skills, knowledge and supervision to the mechanical maintenance workforce to ensure all maintenance activities associated with process plant equipment are effectively and safely carried out on a daily basis.
  • Effectively communicate, successfully train and develop the skills of the mechanical maintenance employees into a well-developed, disciplined safe and efficient maintenance team, capable of carrying out daily, weekly and scheduled maintenance activities within the confines of the Martabe Gold Project.

Candidates for this role would be expected to have the following qualifications and experience:

  1. Previous Supervisor skills in mining prefer Gold or Copper.
  2. A thorough understanding on the mechanical workings of critical fixed plant equipment (Sag, ball mills, jaw and cone crushers, conveyors and all types of pumps).
  3. Capable of supervising the work of the mechanical maintenance team on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
  4. Experience working with operations, electrical and planning departments.
  5. Thorough knowledge of the methods, techniques, equipment, tools and materials used in the mining / mechanical trades industry.
  6. Thorough knowledge of occupational hazards within the mineral processing industry.
  7. Ability to understand and efficiently carry out written and oral instructions including the interpretation of engineering drawings.
  8. Superior work ethic, be able to effectively communicate with all staff and display a high degree of respect to the local people and their culture
  9. Computer literate with Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook and Internet.
  10. Proficient in English skills both written and spoken
  11. Preferably those who have Dogman certificates, First-Aid qualifications, Slewing and non – slewing crane licences and Train the Trainer certification(s)

CONTRACT ADMINISTRATOR (SCM 1186)

This position will be based in Martabe project and SCM Department. Reports directly to Contract Superintendent.

  • Contract Administrator is responsible prepare and administer the activities of the PTAR Martabe contracting in order to ensure commercial aspect of all contracting activities throughout all user departments in accordance with company standards, policies and procedures, Indonesia Law and Martabe Mine Contract of Work, whilst at the same time ensuring a high level of support service to user departments for contract bidding, negotiating, drafting, administration and arrangement of every process to run in accordance with ethics, efficient, risk managed, consistent and cost effective approach.

Candidates for this role would be expected to have the following qualifications and experience :

  1. Minimum Bachelor Degree in Business, Law, Engineering or Equivalent
  2. Professional in Contracts or Procurement and Supply Chain functions.
  3. Minimum 5 years experience in contract management including Construction, Mining and Operations.
  4. Sound understanding of relevant Indonesia business, legal system, company law, immigration, mine and energy regulations.
  5. Contract drafting, including legal capabilities, technical capabilities, contract terminology, commercial terms and contract conditions.
  6. Well developed computer skills to be able to implement and maintain effective processes and procedures
  7. Strong analytical capabilities and negotiating skills, sound business sense, advanced English language documentation skills with high attention to details
  8. Good communication skill both Indonesia and English – oral and written.
  9. Good interpersonal skill
