PT Karya Bumi Baratama

The area of PKP2B of PT. KARYA BUMI BARATAMA located in Muara Indung, Tanjung Rambai, Meruap, Ladang Panjang, Lubuk Sepuh Sarolangun District, Jambi Province and Musirawas District, South Sumatera Province and the mine area can be reached by four wheels drive through the country roads.

At this point in the construction phase to PKP2B Sarolangun District, Jambi Province, covering 16.730 Ha, and for Musi Rawas District, South Sumatera, covering 1.710 Ha a still in the feasibility study stage.

History

In March 2007, PT KBB has changed from Domestic to Foreign Investment as stated in the amendment of a contract signed by the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, Purnomo Yusgiantoro in front of The President of Indonesia, Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono precisely on March 21, 2007.

Senior HR & GA Officer

Responsibilities:

• Controls and administers al HR and GA activities
• Administers employee selection and recruitment, appointment and termination
• Administers payrolls, over-time, and claims/reimbursements
• Administers rents e.g. cars, buildings, etc
• Process expatriate work permits (KITAS, etc.) by closely working with consultants, ESDM, etc
• Maintains good relations with Ministry of Labour, ESDM, Jamsostek/BPJS, etc
• Ensures all company regulations are adhered to by all employees at all times
• Participates in the company’s employee retention programs
• Other ad hoc tasks and duties as instructed by Management

Requirements:

• Age 30-40 years old
• Minimum any Bachelor degree from reputable university, preferably in law
• Having minimum 5 years experience in HR & GA, preferably in mining company
• Good command of English both oral and written is required
• Hands-on skills in and good understanding of labor laws & regulations, payroll, expatriate formalities, industrial relations, recruitment process, and general affairs jobs
• Good communication and negotiation skills
• Strong knowledge of company regulations (PP) in a multinational context
• Able to work under pressure and handle multi tasks
• Mature, honest and good personality
• Willing to travel to mine sites on an as-required basis

Senior Finance & Accounting Officer

Responsibilities:

• Prepares monthly statements by collecting data; analyzing and investigating variances; summarizing data, information, and trends
• Prepares company’s monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
• Complies with Indonesian tax filing requirements by closely working together with tax consultants and advisor
• Responds to financial inquiries by gathering, analyzing, summarizing, and interpreting data
• Works closely with consultants (Tax) and auditors especially external auditors
• Provides financial advice by studying operational issues; applying financial principles and practices; developing recommendations
• Prepares special reports by studying variances; preparing budgets; developing forecasts
• Other ad hoc tasks and duties as instructed by Management

Requirements:

• Age 30-40 years old
• Minimum Bachelor degree in accounting from reputable university
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Finance & Accounting, preferably in mining business environment. Accounting firm experience would be an asset
• CPA or other professional accounting certifications would be a plus
• Good command of English both oral and written is required
• Hands-on skills and good understanding of tax laws and regulations, cost and budget control, financial audits, financial reporting
• Able to work under pressure and handle multi tasks
• Mature, honest and good personality
• Willing to travel to the mine sites on an as-required basis
