PT Meares Soputan Mining

PT. Meares Soputan Mining is operating The Toka Tindung Gold Project located 34 km north east of Manado, North Sulawesi, Indonesia. Toka Tindung is fully operational and all infrastructure is in place. The first gold pour took place in April 2011.

To strengthen the existing management team and to ensure the achievement of the company objectives, PT. Meares Soputan Mining is pleased to invite applications for the following role:

SENIOR SUPERINTENDENT MINE PLANNING

Duties :
The primary role of the Senior Superintendent Mine Planning will be to produce the budget and life of mine plans, manage the short-term planning for the Toka Tindung site, complete project work, training mining engineers and provide mine planning services for other ARL projects. The Senior Superintendent Mine Planning is to work in conjunction with other groups to ensure the long-term and short-term planning meets corporate goals.

Requirements:

1. Degree in mine engineering.
2. Approximately 5 to 10 years experience in the superintendent mine planning role.
3. Advanced Surpac, Mine shced and/or whittle mine planning software skills.
4. LOM and budgeting experience.
5. Project management and planning experience preferable but not essential.
6. Good communication skills.
7. Experience in gold mining preferable.
