G-Resources is an Asia-Pacific gold company, based and listed in Hong Kong, and is operating the Martabe Gold Mine in North Sumatera. Having poured our first gold bars, the mine and processing plant is now focused on achieving the ramp up phase to go into full production. The open cut mine, with an average strip ratio of less than 1.4:1, and a conventional processing circuit incorporating jaw crushing, SAG and ball milling and CIL, is targeting to initially process 4.5mtpa to produce 250,000 ounces of gold and 3 million ounces of silver annually. The Martabe Gold Mine is striving to maintain an excellent track record in responsible mining practices, and clear commitment to compliance to mining regulations as well as developing and managing mining activities with the involvement of local communities.
To strengthen the existing management team and to ensure the achievement of the company objectives, the Martabe Gold Mine is looking for candidate to fill the role:
Construction Supervisor – (PD 1077)
Responsibilities:
- Plan, design, and supervise physical construction projects – in aspects of earthworks, electric, plumbing and logistics
- Look after day to day construction teams and maintain performance related with scope of works, included ground maintenance, waste handling, pest control activities, and Water Treatment Plant at Site
- Proposed maintenance request for Building accommodation, Offices Buildings and Camp Facilities and continue maintain all Camp Building within the budgets
Requirements:
- Minimum BS Degree S1-Majoring in Technical
- Have at least 4 year’s experience in construction-Infrastructure focused in Electrical, Plumbing Civil works, survey skill, Estimation and invoice review
- Previous work on a mineral mine site
- Proficient in English skills both written and spoken
- Able to operate Windows and AutoCAD
- Ability to effectively communicate with all staff and display a high degree of respect to all personnel
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work well with others as part of a team and contribute to a harmonious working environment
- Enthusiasm, self-motivation and the ability to maintain direction and achieve work objectives with minimal supervision
Hydrogeologist (MIN 1076)
Responsibilities:
- Promote and maintain high safety performance through personal commitment and application of PT AR safety policies and procedures
- Carry out pro-active daily open pit walls/waste dumps/TSF/main infrastructures hydrogeoloical monitoring activities, documented, evaluate, and reporting
- Conduct pit slope depressurisation program, groundwater investigations and instrumentation installation
- Assess the needs and location for dewatering and slope depressurisation program that has potential adverse impact to the slope stability
- Ensure that all monitoring instrumentations installed in the open pit walls, waste dumps, TSF and mine infrastructures are read regularly, recorded, evaluated, and consistently reported documented. Slope depressurisation and dewatering
- Maintain the adequacy and ensure that all of the current and future hydrogeological monitoring instrumentations (e.g. Open Standpipe, Piezometer, and Dewatering Bores) are working properly at all times and identify then fix if any problem observed
- Conduct relevant hydrogeoloical software analysis to better understand groundwater regime & characteristics
- Updating and developing relevant procedural controls (under direction & guidance by Senior Hydrogeologist & Superintendent Geotechnical & Hydrogeologist)
- Providing strong leadership and mentoring for technicians & work peers
Requirements:
- Minimum BS Degree in Geology/Geological Engineering/Mining
- At least 3 years of related hydrogeology aspects of open pit experience
- Considerable experience and exposure in mine dewatering, groundwater production, contaminated site investigations and Acid Mine Drainage
- Considerable knowledge of hydrogeological software packages (MODFLOW, LEAPFROG, FEFLOW, etc.), Surpac, AutoCAD, and MapInfo
- Hold a POP certificate from Indonesia Mines Department
- Proficient in English skills both written and spoken
