PT Multi Harapan Utama (PT MHU) is the coal mining company was established since 1986 as PKP2B (Perjanjian Kontrak Karya Pengusahaan Pertambangan Batubara). Our concessions area in Samarinda and Kutai Kertanegara (East Kalimantan). We are seeking for qualified and highly motivated candidates from multiple disciplines to join into experienced team in a fast paced environment.

Drafter – Strategic Planning & Technical Dept.

(Code: DSPT)

Placed: Samarinda Office

Main Accountabilities;

• Create mine plan design (pit, disposal, ramp, hauling road)
• Create situation map, update progress mining, land acquisition, reclamation, etc.

Requirements;

• Minimum Technical High School, Diploma and Bachelor Degree are preferable
• Having minimum 2-3 years related experience as mine plan drafter
• Having a skill on drawing and familiar or able to use design software are required for this position (AutoCAD are preferable)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Good communication and interpersonal skill, initiative, process and result oriented, able to work under pressure
• Highly motivated and able to work as a part of a team and individually

Land Dispute Settlement Supervisor – Land & Concession Management Dept.

(Code: PLDSS)

Placed: Samarinda Office

Main Accountabilities;

1. Develop both the list of cases and potential cases including status to update superiors and the related parties to seek alternatives on how to settle them with the best practice.
2. Liaise with colleagues and superior to assess each cases on the impact to the operation and develop plan to prioritize handling of the case including resources and timing required.
3. Develop contingency plan for the main plan to anticipate the change in situation and condition as the law enforcement is relatively weak.
4. Coordinate several informal meetings with police, lawyer, community leaders, and other Government institutions to introduce the community of the law enforcement, awareness of regulations, procedure, and policy on land and its involvement.
5. Approach and liaise with the courts on some cases and seek advice on how to settle the cases as quick as possible
6. Monitor closely disputes and alternative offerings for solution to all parties involved.
7. Report on activities including recommendation and suggestion for further considerations in the upper level decision maker.
8. Conduct regular housekeeping on file of land to ensure that file are kept properly and confidentially
9. Manage subordinates in the section for their rights and obligations at work and support the team in a conducive and productive team work.

Requirements;

• Minimal Bachelor Degree in law or social
• Having minimum 3-5 years related experience, especially in conflict resolution
• Candidates must possess of legal / regulations, and land compensation procedure both national and local.
• Proficient in Ms Office (word, excel, power point)
• Experienced in the preparation of the budget and manage funds that have been provided
• Good communication, assertive, and good interpersonal skill to deal with various parties.
• Having good negotiation, presentation and leadership skill, able to work under pressure
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Highly motivated and able to work as a part of a team and individually
