PT. Meares Soputan Mining is operating The Toka Tindung Gold Project located 34 km north east of Manado, North Sulawesi, Indonesia. Toka Tindung is fully operational and all infrastructure is in place. The first gold pour took place in April 2011

To strengthen the existing management team and to ensure the achievement of the company objectives, PT. Meares Soputan Mining is pleased to invite applications for the following role:

SENIOR SUPERINTENDENT MINING

Duties :

The primary role of the Senior Mining Superintendent will be to manage mining activities of the mining contractors, civil earthworks contractors, the blasting management services provider are in accordance with the mine plan manage mining contractor activities and the mine operations group to ensure the ore presentation as outlined in the mine plan is supplied to the process plant in a safe, cost effective and environmentally compliant manner.

Requirements:

1. Degree in mine engineering or related field.
2. Approximately 10 to 15 years experience in the mine supervision or mine engineering.
3. Contractor management preferable but not essential.
4. Project management and planning experience preferable but not essential.
5. Good communication skills.
6. Ability to obtain a Wakil Kepala Teknik Tambang qualification.
