To support our work operation, we are seeking good potential candidates to fill the positions of:
Geotechnical Engineer
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Engineering (Mining/Mineral) or equivalent.
- Required skill(s): minescape, AutoCad.
- Required language(s): English
- Having a good understanding in mining business process
- Good analytical thinking skill and problem solving skill
- At least 8 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Applicants must be willing to work in Batu Kajang.
- Preferably Supervisor / Coordinators specializing in Engineering - Others or equivalent.
- 2 Full-Time position(s) available.
Responsibility:
- Collect, validate and process all necessary geological information to interpolate and define the basic geological model used in mine planning or client negotiation.
- Develop Geological database, control variance and updates model to assist accurate mine planning process
- Compile weekly and monthly exploration report in order to ensure the exploration activities are recorded to be submitted to government
- Check and monitor report of slope stability and drain hole to ensure that the slope movement calculation is well identified and recorded properly
- Develop annual and monthly geology plan (trenching and drilling) to ensure that the geology activities are done as planned
- Monitor the activities in drilling, logging, coring, and trenching processes to ensure that the activities are done according to the quality and process standards so that the quality of coal can be safeguarded
