Electrical Engineer - E&C

Responsibilities:

• Prepare bid specifications for control panels, motor control center and Other electrical equipment items.
• Perform and/or review electrical calculations and data sheets for the Project.
• Review electrical equipment proposals during bid evaluation to ensure that equipment satisfies project requirements.
• Review electrical design drawings to ensure that electrical standard requirements are satisfied.
• Work with electrical/instrument designer to develop logic diagrams, area
• Classification drawings, and other preliminary development design drawings.
• Evaluate proposals from electrical equipment suppliers and prepare recommendations for the proper suppliers.
• Evaluate proposals from electrical equipment suppliers and prepare recommendations for the proper suppliers.
• Witness testing and perform final inspection on electrical equipment and Systems when requested by the manager.
• Perform detailed electrical design of systems such as low and medium voltage
• Distribution systems, power generation systems and electronic control system wiring systems.
• Evaluate proposals from suppliers of electrical equipment and make recommendations for the proper suppliers.
• Review and approve electrical design drawings.
• Assist in preparation of commissioning and operating manual.
• Prepare scopes of work for all construction of electrical related systems.
• Provide technical assistance during commissioning and start-up.
• Expedite vendor data and delivery of equipment and material, including all test certificates and associated documentation.
• Witness testing of equipment.

Requirements:

• S1 in Electrical Engineering with minimum GPA 2.75. S2 in related discipline is an advantage
• Minimum 5 years experiences in related area.
• Proactive and have "can do" and "strive for excellence" attitude.
• Good interpersonal and communication skill and able to communicate well in English both written and spoken.
• Excellent presentation skill, with ability to express ideas in a clear manner.
• Able to identify problems and provide alternative solution.
• Well organized, self motivated and able to work both independently and in a team.
