G-Resources is an Asia-Pacific gold company, based and listed in Hong Kong, and is operating the Martabe Gold Mine in North Sumatera. The open cut mine, with an average strip ratio of less than 1.4:1, and a conventional processing circuit incorporating jaw crushing, SAG and ball milling and CIL, processes in excess of 4.5mtpa to produce greater than 250,000 ounces of gold and 3 million ounces of silver annually. The Martabe Gold Mine is striving to maintain an excellent track record in responsible mining practices, and clear commitment to compliance to mining regulations as well as developing and managing mining activities with the involvement of local communities.

To strengthen the existing management team and to ensure the achievement of the company objectives, the Martabe Gold Mine is looking for candidate to fill the role:

 

Mobile Maintenance Planner - (PRO 0643)

Responsibilities

  • This position will be based at Martabe site, working on schedule 4 weeks on; 2 weeks off and reports directly to Senior Maintenance Planner
  • The role of the Maintenance Planner ensures that all routine maintenance activities in the Martabe Gold Process Plant are appropriately planned (with Production and Maintenance) so that the work is able to progress in a safe, environmentally responsible, efficient, cost effective and repeatable manner
  • The “Maintenance Planner” will optimize, and monitor compliance to, preventative maintenance programs and schedules for all processing facilities and ancillary equipment

Requirements:

  • Graduation from a standard high school, Qualified Trade and Technical College Certificate
  • This is a FIFO position on a 4 weeks on /2 weeks off roster and Initial one year contract offered
  • Minimum 2 years or more in maintenance planning role in either Fixed or Mobile Plant operations
  • Knowledge of fixed plant, mobile equipment, tools and materials used in the mining industry
  • Ability to organise plan and schedule using CMMS
  • Compile daily, weekly and monthly maintenance plans
  • Ability to estimate the amounts of labour, materials, and equipment required for jobs.
  • Ability to prepare reports and maintain records
  • Computer literate with Microsoft Excel, Word, Project & Outlook
  • Ability to effectively communicate with all staff and display a high degree of respect to all personnel
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work well with others as part of a team and contribute to a harmonious working environment
  • Enthusiasm, self-motivation and the ability to maintain direction and achieve work objectives with minimal supervision

 

Trainer - Learning & Development (TD 0646)

Responsibilities

  • This position will be based at Martabe site and Training & Development Department. Reports directly to the Staff Development Superintendent
  • Role this position is required to deliver employee development training programmes to PTAR employees, with an emphasis on, but not confined to local staff
  • The role critical in raising the levels of ability and awareness among employees through a wide variety of job-specific and more holistic training programmes, designed to equip employees with more skills, knowledge and behaviours which will enhance their roles at PTAR
  • Typical programmes would include: time management, cross-cultural awareness, communications skills and certain basic Microsoft packages such as Word and Outlook

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in education HRD, business administration or psychology
  • Have certified trainer or facilitator
  • A sound awareness of competency based training systems
  • A thorough knowledge of the principles of adult education
  • Three or five years experience working with a learning & development environment, preferably within a large organisation
  • Outstanding verbal, written, multi tasking and presentation skills
  • Rounded English ability to a minimum of C1 (CEF) or IELTS 7

 

CONTRACT ADMINISTRATOR (SCM 0647)

Responsibilities:

  • This position will be based in Martabe project and reports directly to Contract Superintendent.
  • Contract Administrator is responsible prepare and administer the activities of the PTAR Martabe contracting in order to ensure commercial aspect of all contracting activities throughout all user departments in accordance with company standards, policies and procedures, Indonesia Law and Martabe Mine Contract of Work, whilst at the same time ensuring a high level of support service to user departments for contract bidding, negotiating, drafting, administration and arrangement of every process to run in accordance with ethics, efficient, risk managed, consistent and cost effective approach.

Requirements:

  • Candidates for this role would be expected to have the following qualifications and experience :
  • Minimum Bachelor Degree in Business, Law, Engineering or Equivalent
  • Professional in Contracts or Procurement and Supply Chain functions.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in contract management including Construction, Mining and Operations.
  • Sound understanding of relevant Indonesia business, legal system, company law, immigration, mine and energy regulations.
  • Contract drafting, including legal capabilities, technical capabilities, contract terminology, commercial terms and contract conditions.
  • Well developed computer skills to be able to implement and maintain effective processes and procedures
  • Strong analytical capabilities and negotiating skills, sound business sense, advanced English language documentation skills with high attention to details
  • Good communication skill both Indonesia and English - oral and written.
  • Good interpersonal skill
