KPC was established in 1982. Acording to Work Contract of Coal Mining Exploitation (PKP2B, Perjanjian Kontrak Karya Pengusahaan Pertambangan Batubara) signed on 8th April, 1982, the Government gave permission to the Company to undertake exploration, production, and marketing of coal from the area of agreement until 2021. The area of agreement covers an area of 90,938 ha in the Regency of Kutai Timur, Province of Kalimantan Timur.

Vacancy exists within Learning and Development Department for the position of :

 

SUPERINTENDENT - INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS

(Permanent Position)

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree (S1) in (Law, Social Science, Psychology or Mass Communication) with 7 - 9 years working experience in industrial relation.
• Strong knowledge of Manpower Regulations of Indonesia.
• Capability to do negotiation in conflict and pressure situation.
• Maintain good relation with officials from the Department of Manpower, Disnaker, Industrial Relation Court and all Unions in KPC as well as with KPC employees.

 

ENGINEER - MINING

(Permanent Position)

Requirements

• Mining Engineering / Civil Engineering / Geology Engineering degree or similar qualifications.
• Minimum 2 years experiences in mining (min. 1 year in technical planning) - preferably open pit experience.
• Experience in mining software (especially in MINEX is an advantage) for design pit, dump, and scheduling.
• Ability to manage and resolve conflict situations.

 

ENGINEER - COAL QUALITY

(Permanent Position)

Requirements

• S1 graduate mining engineers or geologist with 1 - 2 years' experience working in a coal quality environment.
• Lateral thinking and problem solving skills are essential to achieve the production and quality targets.
• Recognize and understand coal quality and standards to analyze coal, for example ISO, ASTM, etc.
• Possess numerical skill (working with numbers); able to collect and analyze data of coal quality, and monitor the implementation of the plan.
• Recognize and understand each specification that relates to coal quality required by each buyer in the contract.
• Able to negotiate, possess managerial skill.

 

ENGINEER - PROJECT (CONTROL & INSTRUMENTATION)

(Fixed-Term Position)

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree (S1) in Electrical/ Control System Engineering with at least 3 years in electrical/ control system engineering of relevant mining/ industry experiences.
• Possess extensive experiences and proven skills in running service/ operation/ maintenance and production facilities in the mining or industry, preferably involving remote or develop locations.
• Have an understanding of how to manage projects, including engineering, procurement and construction of fixed plant's electrical and control systems.
• Use experience accumulated in the current or similar roles to demonstrate a capability to think across others.

 

SENIOR SPECIALIST - CONTRACT

(Permanent Position)

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree (S1) in Mining or Engineering.
• Experiences 5 years in Mining or Engineering or Supply Chain with minimum 1-year experience in Contract.
• Skills in composing and review of contractual documents.
• Negation skills in dealing with contractual matters, claims and meetings.

 

SENIOR SPECIALIST - PURCHASING

(Permanent Position)

Requirements

• University/college degree with 5 years experiences in the areas of purchasing, inventory control, warehouse and logistic.
• Having knowledge of purchasing, custom, logistic warehousing principles and market places.
• Good analytical and numerical skills.
• Good planner, good people skills and organizing skills.
• Able to work under pressure and possess creative thinking.
• Possess qualification in Supply Chain areas from reputable organization such as Charter.
• Institute of Purchasing and Supply or other international organization will be an advantage.

 

COORDINATOR - HSE (PT. NTP)

(Fixed-Term Position)

Requirements

• S1 with at least 3 year's experience or D3 with at least 5 year's experience.
• Working experience for HSE management system and has experience exposing to project management function.
• Strong background in HSE and standard implementation.
• Good interpersonal skills to liaise with personnel at all well from various departments / divisions and contractors.

1. Good communication in both written and spoken English
2. Good interpersonal and organisational skills
3. Highly self-motivated and strong analytical skills.
4. Computer literate (MS Office)
5. Creative, self-starter, team player and having self-integrity .
