PT. Lamindo Inter Multikon, an associate of The Adani Group in Indonesia, is looking for the following personnel to join it's team at the coal mine in Kecamatan Bunyu, Kabupaten Bulungan, Kalimantan Utara, Indonesia.

SR. MARINE ENGINEER (Code: SRME)

Role Description :

• To lead the the company's floating crane operations and ensuring that overall FC operations will be running uninteruptedly, at the reasonable costs structure.
• The FC operations is part of the company's coal mining operations and its efficient operational costs will impact to the overal coal mining production costs.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Engineering/marine related field.
• Experience in a senior technical role onboard vessels, preferably offshore vessels.
• Experience leading vessel inspections, audits and suitable studies.
• Experience in procedure writing, supporting risk assessments and hazard identification.
• Required knowledge of MS Office suite.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills essential for team-based working.
• Excellent planning and organization skills required for our fast-paced environment.
• Must be highly motivated, proactive and willing to take on new challenges.
• Able and willing to locate to Bunyu Island, North Kalimantan.

Tasks :

• Support daily marine engineering activities, providing technical advice and support in all marine operational matters.
• Provide experience and expertise to support marine self-verification/inspection activities encompassing all marine vessels and assets.
• Direct the engineering team to a solution that achieves compliance with all HSE expectations and actively participate in all safety programs.
• Develop marine procedures, systems and processes to drive safe and compliant marine operations.
• Provide mentor support and coaching to all marine and terminal team members and all technical matters associated with marine operations.
• Support the development and implementation of systems to deliver safe and compliant marine operations.
• Support the identification and management of risk associated with marine operations, and embrace continuous improvement in an effort to minimize operational risk.
• Ensure both assets and vessels comply with local, national and international maritime legislation inclusive of Classification Society and Flag State requirements.
• Establish and maintain effective relationships with others ensuring effective collaboration with the various Technical Authorities (Marine, Engineering, Floating Structure, Floating Systems, etc.) Health & Safety team and Environmental teams based within region.
• Assist in the preparation of policy and procedural documents as directed and agreed.
