COMMERCIAL & RISK MANAGER

(Placement: Jakarta)

Direct, coordinate and control the implementation of all commercial responsibilities (company and government regulations, legal compliance and contract document adherence to the values and policies of company) in regard to formal relationships between company stakeholders, divisions, end users and clients to ensure that all exposure to commercial risk are minimised.

Requirements:

  1. Should have the ability and flexibility to respond to short term requirements which will involve travel and extended work hours
  2. Broad knowledge on Industry or associated industry knowledge, commercial law, contracts, procurement, logistics, general management, industry standards & regulations, business management
  3. Min. 10 years of exposure to attributes
  4. Good analytical and attention to details

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and analyse contract strategies in conjunction with external commercial and legal expertise to ensure all contracts are manage on a controlled basis.
  2. Review and analyse all new contract wins, including the tendering to ensure maximum profits/margins can be established.
  3. Develop and maintain a standard set contract documents in conjunction with Contract Engineers in order to meet all corporate and divisional contracting guidelines.
  4. Monitor and advice in the tender review process of all tenders and proposals undertaken by the division to ensure that the process is comply with company’s procedures.
  5. Monitor and liaise with the Audit Manager to ensure commercial functional audits are performed within projects and any NCR’s are addressed and closed out.
  6. Monitor and review the process of risk management and insurance requirements within the division including preparation of risk profiles to ensure compliancy with commercial guidelines.
  7. Lead, coach and manage subordinate including recruitment and provide a proper development plan for them in order to maintain subordinate in attract, motive and retain.

 

EMERGENCY RESPONSE COORDINATOR

(Placement: Kalimantan)

Managing all emergency precaution and able to act professionally when emergency occur. Responsible for administrating a sound and effective emergency prevention program. Supervise to ensure immediate act by ERT. He also must ensure day to day emergency preparation within the site is in correct manner. Direct, monitor and evaluate emergency response procedure. To coordinate the development, implementation and maintenance all emergency management program to prepare for and direct the actions in the event of an emergency.

Requirements:

  1. Must possess required knowledge and be able to explain and demonstrate that the essential functions of the job can be performed.
  2. At least from D-3 from relevant discipline with minimum 5 years progressively experience in emergency coordinator or crisis management.
  3. Maintaining an established work schedule,
  4. Effectively using interpersonal and communications skills.
  5. Effectively using organizational and planning skills with attention to detail and follow through.
  6. Application of regulatory requirements to ensure regulatory compliance
  7. Applying technical expertise, experience, and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

Responsibilities:

  1. An emergency coordinator maintains accurate and updated emergency strategies, coordinates internal activities related to crisis management and provides periodic updates to management.
  2. The coordinator also communicates with peers, superiors and subordinates, solves difficult problems and makes decisions.
  3. Responsibility for the setting the emergency direction and strategy.
  4. Custodian of emergency Risk registers and POSB ER procedure.
  5. Conducts assessments, reviews and self-inspections. Analyzes and interprets results, recommends appropriate corrective actions, communicates results and follows-up on issues or concerns until completion.
  6. Develops, coordinates, facilitates and maintains crisis management policies and procedures, and ensuring adherence to the emergency management goals of: Protecting life, health, and safety; Securing and protecting facilities, property and equipment from loss; continuously assessing the effectiveness of the policies, procedures, activities and ERT structure and provide feedback for continuous improvements.
  7. Reviews and updates programs, and procedures ensuring inclusion of any legislation update.
  8. Utilizes best practices in emergency management and planning.
  9. Reviews and investigates an emergency accident, compiling findings and recommendations for corrective actions into summary report.
  10. Develops, implements, and coordinates emergency training. Prepare and deliver appropriate training to all ERT.
  11. Works with all Managers to facilitate, implement, maintain and exercise an effective continuity plan that strives to reduce the possibility that operations will be interrupted in the event of a Emergency.
  12. Provides technical knowledge on emergency preparedness and related issues, plans, and projects for implementation.
  13. (if required) Assists with the design, development and implementation of emergencies preparedness plans and training programs, emergency drills, department level emergency and mitigation plans.
  14. Actively assist the HSE Manager, Operation Manager, and Base Manager to communicate, both written and verbally, with senior management, supply base personnel and the various Client’s to ensure an open and ethical work environment.
  15. Routinely communicates emergency management preparedness measures to all employees.
  16. Development and implementation of crisis management plans.
  17. Best management practices in crisis management. Process/Procedures for interaction with professional leadership team during emergencies to lead with confidence, patience and integrity.
  18. Methods used to management emergency response operations.
  19. Develop skill on how to work positively in stressful situations, emergency exercise design, implementation and management, working with and local emergency officials.
  20. Organize regularly meeting with all ERT.
  21. Prepare and ensure availability of emergency equipments and not limited in Medevac, Confined space, Fire fighting, and oil spill equipment.
  22. Carry out regular inspection to all facilities include ER equipment above and drills periodically.

 

ENGINEERING MANAGER

Plan, direct and control the Engineering function to produce a cost effective engineered solution (including the development of appropriate Specifications) for the Project within the budgeted man hours and within the tendered timeframe by utilizing capable and appropriate resources efficiently to ensure that Procurement/Construction activities commence on time.

Requirements:

  1. Work extended hours to meet Engineering deadlines
  2. Required to travel to site
  3. Ensure all designs produced are cost effective and within the budget constraints of the Project
  4. Develop a close relationship with the Procurement Manager
  5. Comprehensive knowledge of engineering and procurement management principles and practices. Must possess an in depth knowledge of the Engineering and Design process as well as extensive experience in construction methods
  6. Min. Bachelor degree preferably in Engineering
  7. Maximize Project margins by ensuring appropriate Technical Specifications and Codes are adopted to suit the requirements of the contract
  8. Min. 15 years previous experiences in Engineering with 5 years as a Manager
  9. Demonstrated effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills

Responsibilities:

  1. Be fully conversant with the contents of the Project Safety Management Plans (including Environment) and the Company policies on safety. Ensure that Safety topics are discussed with all Vendors/Subcontractors/Consultants prior to the commencement of any engineering/design activities and be vigilant in enforcing the agreed standards.
  2. Develop an Engineering/Design Management Plan for the Project that includes the strategy to deliver the work in accordance with the schedule parameters set by the Project Manager. This plan must be maintained and remain relevant to the function during the course of the Project.
  3. Develop a detailed Engineering schedule to meet the requirements of the Project. Be fully accountable for this schedule and react to any negative movements to ensure the schedule is met.
  4. Resource the Engineering department to ensure that the schedule can be delivered by all disciplines. Develop a back-up strategy to be able to react to the situation where the scope grows or delays begin. Understand the availability of resources or consultants to be able to react promptly to all situations.
  5. Ensure that all members of the Engineering Team fully understand the requirement of the Project and are familiar with the Design Management Plan and are conversant with the commercial constraints of the Project Budget.
  6. Interface with the Procurement function to ensure that all Technical Bid Evaluations are completed on time so that the procurement process is not delayed as a result of Engineering in decisiveness. Meet on a regular basis (more than once per week) with the Procurement Manager and plan the resource allocations to ensure schedules are met..
  7. Establish and maintain effective work relationships with all members of the Project team and offer support to all persons that request support. Pass knowledge onto your team and others in the Project so that the capability of the developed team grows throughout the life of the Project.
  8. Establish a comprehensive database of all Standards, Codes, and Specifications and ensure that all members of the Engineering Team are familiar with their location and the appropriate use of the information. Keep all reference material updated and current.
  9. Prepare weekly and monthly reports on the progress of the engineering phase of the Project. Identify areas of concern and the strategy to mitigate the known issues.
  10. Establish and maintain a detailed risk register for the engineering function and liaise with the Project Controls and Project Managers to discuss the identified risks on a regular basis.
  11. Establish a rigid Document Control system to ensure that all members of the Engineering team follow the approved procedures. Provide training in the use of the system and ensure that all Vendors/Fabricators submit their documents direct to the leader of the Doc Con function.
  12. Ensure that inter-disciplinary reviews are conducted for all aspects of the Project. Monitor the IDR process to ensure that the turn-around time for documents is known and the duration is being minimized.
  13. Establish an efficient Technical Query system to control all TQ’s between all partners in the Project. Ensure that all subcontract Vendors/Fabricators adopt the system and it is fully utilized. Manage the TQ system and report weekly the status of all TQ’s. Continually strive to reduce the TQ response time.
  14. Performs administrative supervisory tasks including evaluating employee performance, source necessary skills and resources based on manpower forecasts to provide managerial supports in administrative matters.
  15. Establish a Management of Change procedure and educate the Project Team (all departments) about it’s appropriate use. Ensure the system is adopted with the use of all subcontractors to ensure that all changes are effectively managed.
  16. Provide a support service to the Construction phase by assigning persons to the site team and ensuring that the response time to field TQ’s is minimized.
  17. Maintain and implementing HSE programs including Environmental Management System to ensure the effectiveness of the programs conform to official standard and requirements

 

EXTERNAL AFFAIRS MANAGER

(Assignment: Jakarta)

Responsible to manage and implement of organization’s industrial relations, employee relations to minimize the negative impact of individual employee grievances or collective labor disputes and maintain industrial peace; also to ensure that the organization’s current and future administrative needs are met efficiently.

Requirements:

  1. Min. Bachelor degree, preferably Law
  2. Min. 10 years professional experience in People Development / HR field, out of which 5 years in managerial position.
  3. Able to develop and maintain relationship with regional and local government officials
  4. Maintain to update knowledge of government regulations and law
  5. Willing to work in extended hours to achieve objectives

Responsibilities:

  1. Liase with functional or operational area managers, employees, and their representatives to investigate and resolve employee grievances and develop strategies to prevent their recurrence in order to maintain a productive and harmonious workplace.
  2. Represent management in negotiations and dispute resolution procedures with employee, but not limited to providing employee counseling, unions, employer bodies, government agencies, labour relation authorities, and other relevant agencies so that the organisation’s interest are protected.
  3. Propose and recommend company regulations and policies as a result of reviewing against best practice and government requirements; to ensure that all company policies and regulations are comply with government requirements and conform with Department of manpower requirements.
  4. Manage the administrative activities of the overall organisation so that administrative staff, equipment, and other resources are used effectively and economically.
  5. Manage and monitor the work of personnel engaged in office services function such as security, car pool, office boy, cleaning service, messenger services, etc to ensure that all office services run well and coordinated conform to the company’s standard and procedures.
  6. Manage all requirements required for licences, permits and control the extention of document and formalities matter to ensure that all document are complete, filed and extended conform with government requirements.
  7. Develop and maintain good relationship with regional and local government, Man power, BKPM, Police, Mine & energy and communities around the project to have smooth company’s operational activities.
  8. Manage the submission of applications for all redundancies and terminations to Department of Manpower, court (PHI) to ensure that all requirements required are fullfilled conform with current regulations and procedures.
  9. Advise and assist line management on all employee’s relations / government relation’s matter and Site Administrators relating to IR disputes of government regulations / Laws, company regulations to provide accurate and correct advice on IR, and ER.
  10. Conduct formal annual performance review and provide ongoing coaching, mentoring and performance counselling as required for all direct report to ensure that their performance are evaluated and noticed.
  11. Maintain and implementing HSE programs including Environmental Management System to ensure the effectiveness of the programs conform to official standard and requirements
  12. Manage and monitor all EOS process from preparation, carry out, collect and analyze data from Employee Opinion Survey.

 

MARKETING COORDINATOR

(Assignment: Jakarta)

Develop and coordinate the planning and definition of marketing strategy in aiming to create the presence of the Company’s branding, image and profile to the industries and stakeholders that are in line with and contribute to the organization’s short and long-term strategic business goals.

Requirements:

  1. Min. Bachelor degree in any discipline
  2. Min. 5 years of experiences in Marketing/Communication functions
  3. Willing to travel to all location
  4. Good communication skills (written and verbal) both in English and Indonesian
  5. Creative and Innovative

Responsibilities:

  1. Recommend and liaise with SBD Management team to develop a marketing strategy consistent with the organization’s overall mission, vision and objectives.
  2. Coordinates the planning and definition of advertising objectives, recommend choice of media and allocate resources so advertising campaigns are effective, economical and appropriate for intended audience.
  3. Liaise and collaborate with Indika Group as required to decide on which venues/exhibitions to participate in and oversee the management of Petrosea’s participation/exhibits at industry based exhibitions with the aims of:
    1. Increasing Petrosea’s understanding of the market
    2. Raising Petrosea’s profile in the market
    3. Acquiring/meeting new contacts in the market
  4. Liaise with Business Development teams within Business Units to discuss ideas, clarify content/message and develop format for:
    1. Brochures for sections
    2. Promo sheets for jobs
    3. Capability statement
    4. Media Watch
  5. Recommend the selection and engagement of a Media partner for the advertisement and publications in aim of ensuring Petrosea is positioned appropriately in the market and build brand awareness with clients.
  6. Oversee the organisation of key client functions and develop the Customer Account Management (CAM) strategy through development of key relationship within clients/partners’ organization.
  7. Lead, coach and manage subordinate including recruitment and provide a proper development plan for them in order to maintain subordinate in attract, motive and retain.
  8. Responsible to support HSE programs including Environmental Management System to ensure the effectiveness of the programs conform to official standard and requirements.

 

MINE ENGINEERING MANAGER

(Assignment: Kalimantan)

Plan, develop, implement and improve mine plannning system, procedures and resources in order to support mining projects in term of technical services expertise for optimizing company’s mining operation.

Requirements:

  1. Min. Bachelor degree, preferably in mining engineering.
  2. With at least 10 years mine experience and minimum 3 years in managerial position.
  3. Excellent communication both in English & Indonesian.
  4. Outstanding analysis skills.
  5. Strong capability / exposure to mine planning softwares.

Responsibilities:

  1. Control, monitor and liase with Project Managers to foster efficient mining operations through competent Technical services skills and disciplines.
  2. Control, monitor and liase with project manager in communicate ideas, systems, designs, procedures and standards in mining operation to ensure the adherence of those new policies.
  3. Develop and monitor monthly reporting format for the Mining business line and coordinate the timely completion by all Project Managers to ensure monthly reporting timeliness and conform with standard format.
  4. Provide support to all tenders / proposals prepared by the Mining business line to ensure the reliability of all tenders / proposals prior to submission.
  5. Coach and mentor of technical support staff and key national staff in order to assist them understand and manage the technical implications within contracts.
  6. Monitor, support and liase with HR department to Facilitate the graduate development program in order to participate in developing new talents.

 

PROJECT MANAGER

(Assignment: Kalimantan)

Plan, direct and control all aspects of the Project, in accordance with company policy and procedures, in order to maximise EBIT achieved, whilst ensuring the safe delivery of all Contract requirements in a timely manner, with minimum negative impacts to the environment and local communities.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor degree in Mining or Engineering preferred, but not essential (provided adequate experience)
  2. Has least 10 years professional experience in Mining, out of which 5 years in managerial positions
  3. Comprehensive knowledge of mining management principles and practices and the associated flow of design, planning and mining project management
  4. An understanding of the commercial aspects of Contract Mining, in particular with respect to Variations, potentials Claims (for/against) and the ability to manage contract activities avoid costly claims and litigation, whilst maximising EBIT
  5. Understanding of the fundamentals of effective asset and resource management to optimise outcomes
  6. Proactively adopts the principles of Continuous Improvement and promotes to all levels of the Project
  7. Ability to develop, supervise and encourage subordinates, including disciplinary action if required
  8. Leads by example in a professional and safe workmanlike manner
  9. Able to work effectively in an International environment with due respect for local customs and practices. Willing to learn Indonesian
  10. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing, with Clients, subordinates, superiors and other third parties related to the Project
  11. Ability to develop and proactively implement effective monitoring and control systems
  12. Understands and actively implements Target Zero concepts

Responsibilities:

  1. Maintain and implementing HSE programs including Environmental Management System to ensure the effectiveness of the programs conform to official standard and requirements
  2. Plan and control the flow of work for a mining project, including estimated timeline, supplies and personnel required for completing the project to ensure that projects generate the expected business revenue according to established plan.
  3. Direct, control and execute the Project by conducting a kick off meeting (new project) with the Project Team, assign duties and responsibilities as detailed in the functional matrix in order to ensure project initial are well managed.
  4. Direct, review and analyze client specifications and documents to ensure the requirements defined are incorporated into the works and the responsibilities allocated under the project quality system are understood and implemented.
  5. Prepare, control and implement project budgets, mining schedules, project reporting, progress assessment and project execution plan, take personal responsibility and accountability for cash flow, receivables and return on capital of the project to ensure budget are meet with operational needs and requirements.
  6. Interface and coordinate subcontract activities to ensure that they will support the achievement of project aims and the support of company objectives
  7. Direct, monitor and utilize company’s equipment efficiently, maintain schedule compliance on planned maintenance and reduce cost as appropriate in order to optimize asset utilization.
  8. Direct, submit and negotiate claims to settlement as required to ensure that progress claims are submitted and paid in a timely manner
  9. Plan, analyse and establish detailed cost forecasts, manage variations in order to close out to maximise returns in a timely manner
  10. Direct, control and manage all statutory permits and approvals as required to proceed with the contract to ensure all permits and formalities are complete and valid.
  11. Establish to maintain and manage all stakeholders interests to ensure harmonious and cooperative relationships in industrial relations, community relations and staff welfare in all aspects of the project
  12. Ensure project efficiency is in line with the established plan in order to meet the expected EBT level.

 

SENIOR CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT ENGINEER

(Assignment: Kalimantan)

Manage, control, and give required direction for mining engineers (continuous improvement) on-sites to ensure mining improvement processes and tasks are in line with organization goal.

To ensure continuous improvement techniques and methods in order to identify, prioritize and implement opportunity for improvement in mining project are established.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor Degree in Mining, Civil, Mechanical or Industrial
  2. At least 5 years working experience in open cut mining operations especially at Continuous Improvement section
  3. Strong computer skills, preference is competent using statistical software application such as MINITAB
  4. Strong on analytical (multi variance data) skills
  5. Good communication and presentation skills
  6. Willing to travel frequently to the company’s mine sites
  7. Good understanding of Mining Business Process
  8. Demonstrated ability to influence others and lead change

Responsibilities:

  1. Promotion of HSE programmes targeting zero work related injuries and illnesses.
  2. Coordinate with site mining engineers (CI) to ensure improvement processes and implementations are running well in onsite
  3. Work as a team with mining engineers (CI) to analyse operational data (such as VHMS, PLM, VIMS, MIC, OpsDB, FMS and etc) to determine performance or cost issues and work toward solution which can be delivered to the project.
  4. Work in a team and set up benchmarking criteria by which improvements can be measured
  5. To ensure a specific method / discipline to measure the gap between current process capability with the project’s goals is developed and followed up
  6. To ensure systems to maintain the
  7. Improvements processes are established, and adjusts the project strategy action plans as required
  8. Coaching, mentoring, and facilitating subordinates in achieving targets and projects goal

 

SPECIALIST TRAINER (MECHANICAL)

(Assignment: Balikpapan)

To provide training program and assessment for PTP Asset personnel in the field of Mechanical maintenance to ensure that plant personnel are competent in the identified competencies for their position, continues improving operations technique and best practices standard, and comply with company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  1. Min. Senior Technical High School and/or Apprentices graduate (preferable from Diploma graduate in Engineering)
  2. Minimal 5 year of experiences as a trainer in HE Mechanical maintenance in the field at high risk industry in Mining or Oil and Gas Company.
  3. Good knowledge about the Heavy Equipment and mining process
  4. Good Leadership and communication/presentation skill
  5. Good communication in English both verbal and writing
  6. Good Computer literate
  7. Willing to travel to all company’s sites
  8. Willing to work extended hours to meet the objectives.

Responsibilities:

  1. Implement relevant PTP HSE policies and procedures IN ORDER TO ensure that operations run without interruption due to HSE issues.
  2. Develop, review and implement Mechanical maintenance Training and Assessment process, and ensure its implementations in accordance with Petrosea’s training procedures at all sites
  3. Assist Project Training Coordinators to conduct Training Needs Analysis IN ORDER TO ensure that mechanical training is conducted in order to satisfy site competency requirements.
  4. Develop and review Mechanical maintenance training modules and assessments, in order to maintain the quality always meet the requirements for all sites
  5. Deliver effective mechanical training in accordance with Company Policies and Regulation IN ORDER TO maintain and upgrade all mechanic competency levels in accordance with position competency requirements.
  6. Monitor post training performance of Asset personnel conducting mechanical maintenance activities IN ORDER TO ensure that the training has been conducted effectively.
  7. Develop and review weekly / monthly training report and then submit it to the Training Superintendent/ Supervisor.

 

SPECIALIST TRAINER (WELDING/FABRICATION)

(Assignment: Kalimantan Timur)

To provide training program and assessment for PTP Asset personnel in the field of Welding and Fabrication to ensure that Asset personnel are competent in the identified competencies for their position, continues improving welding & fabrication technique and best practices standard, and comply with company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  1. Min. Senior Technical High School and/or Apprentices graduate (preferable from Diploma graduate in Engineering)
