G-Resources is an Asia-Pacific gold company, based and listed in Hong Kong, and is operating the Martabe Gold Mine in North Sumatera. Having poured our first gold bars, the mine and processing plant is now focused on achieving the ramp up phase to go into full production. The open cut mine, with an average strip ratio of less than 1.4:1, and a conventional processing circuit incorporating jaw crushing, SAG and ball milling and CIL, is targeting to initially process 4.5mtpa to produce 250,000 ounces of gold and 3 million ounces of silver annually. The Martabe Gold Mine is striving to maintain an excellent track record in responsible mining practices, and clear commitment to compliance to mining regulations as well as developing and managing mining activities with the involvement of local communities.

To strengthen the existing management team and to ensure the achievement of the company objectives, the Martabe Gold Mine is looking for candidate to fill the role:

 

SME Development Senior Supervisor (CD 0225)

Requirements

  • Degree in Economic, Financial Management, Accountant, Architect, Agribusiness, Industrial Engineer or relevant Degree in Business Management.
  • Have 5 years experiences in Community Development.
  • Advance in Business Counselling and Training.
  • Advance knowledge in Business Plan and General Management.
  • Good understanding in Area Development.
  • Good understanding in human relation, presentation and communication skills.
  • Good understanding in negotiation, analytical and conceptual skills.
  • Good understanding in leadership and influenial team building skills.
  • The role of this position is to develop and provide entrepreneurship empowerment programs through consultation, advocating, training and coaching involving local entrepreneurs at PTAR’s Direct Affected Village (DAV) area. This position also responsible to looking for viable income generating through village-based business development of agriculture, aquaculture, animal husbandry, plantation or other prospective commodities. The objective is to creating independent and skilled local entrepreneurs or group of community to be able to compete in the local economy and sustain themselves in the long run.

 

Teacher - Translator (TD 0221)

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree BA – English Language or EFL/TEFL.
  • High level competency in personal computer applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • A high level of demonstrated ability in the delivery of English language programmes to multiple skill levels.
  • Familiarity of communicative teaching methodology.
  • A current IELTS level of 7.
  • Good organisation and time management skills.
  • High level of confidentiality.
  • Has Certificate in English Language Training (UCLES).
  • The teaching role will consist of the delivery of English Language training to PTAR employees based on role-specific competency needs. Levels, based on the Central European Framework will be between A1 to C2. The incumbent will be heavily involved in curriculum and syllabus design and develop continuous assessment tools. ESP courses, e.g., Report Writing will also be designed specifically on client needs.
  • Indonesian language courses for expatriate staff will also be developed, though this is secondary to English training
  • The role of the Translator is to perform the duties of translating various amounts of technical documents from English into Indonesian. There will also be documents that will need to be translated from Indonesian to English. Verbal translation during presentations and meetings will also be required

 

Senior Supervisor Business Support (CD 0224)

Responsibilities

  • Degree in Economic, Financial Management, Accountant, Architect, Agribusiness, Industrial Engineer or relevant Industrial Engineer or relevant Degree in Business Management.
  • Have 5 years experiences in Community Development.
  • Advance knowledge in Business Plan and Project Management.
  • Advance in Micro Finance/ Revolving Fund.
  • Advance in Cooperative/Foundation Development.
  • Good understanding in human relation, presentation and communication skills.
  • Good understanding in negotiation, analytical and conceptual skills
  • The role of this position is to develop and provide business development program by creating new business opportunities for local entrepreneurs through comprehensive feasibility study and business plan. This position also responsible to develop microfinance programs, develop local economy institutions (cooperative) and provide economic infrastructures for the community at PTAR’s Direct Affected Villages (DAV) area. The objective is to creating economy activities through entrepreneurship programs and increasing participation of local enterprises as an impact of PTAR presence.
  • Candidates for this role would be expected to have the following qualifications and experience

 

Business Analyst Supervisor (CD 0223)

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree in Economic, Financial Management, Accountant, Architect, Agribusiness, Industrial Engineer or relevant degree in Business Management.
  • Minimum 3 years experience in the area of development of local community business.
  • Advanced knowledge in feasibility study, project management, business plan and general management.
  • Good understanding in business counselling.
  • Strong presentation & communication skills, including negotiations, analytical and conceptual skills
  • Competence in speaking, reading and writing English
  • Computer literacy MS Office.
  • This position will be based at Martabe site and reports directly to the Local Business Development Superintendent.
  • Key aspect of this role are to identify and analyse the new and on-going business process potential products and services under community business development to enhance and improve the fixed and applicable business opportunities for local community.
