Specialist Contract

Responsibilities

You will responsible to execute the contracts administration activities specially for tender and awarding process; respond to contract performance issues; manage and coordinates the flow of information concerning contractual appointments, termination and contractual related correspondence to suppliers and sites; to respond any contract enquiries from clients/sites and other department; periodically review operational procedures to assure maintenance of confidentially of both document files and data systems; justify tender cost savings; negotiate with suppliers on contractual disputes; monitor supplier & subcontractor performances during contract period.

Requirements

To be successful in this role you will need to have bachelor degree in Business Administration, Economy, Civil, Mechanical and/or Industrial Engineering with 2-3 years’ experience in contract related In Procurement Contract area; knowledge of Tendering Process, Business Contract Drafting, Purchasing Experience; strong skills in communication, leadership, problem solving and negotiation; self-motivated, have a good planning skill and high initiatives; fluent in English both oral as well written and computer literacy.
 

Superintendent Industrial Relations - Job No. 804333

Responsibilities

  • Advise managers, site HR, and site management on a range of IR issues
  • Work with site HR to improve their knowledge and understanding of IR related legislation
  • Improve site HR confidence in dealing with IR issues
  • Assist in developing IR policies and procedures and advise on relevant law
  • Negotiation and consultation with trade unions
  • Effectively manage relationships between site management and trade unions
  • Establish, develop, and maintain the Provincial and Regional governmental network including all of labour courts officials
  • Communicate with site HR and the bipartite forums, servicing their needs through the meetings and gathering IR information
  • To work closely with the operations manager in ensuring both the Union and the Members are working together for the best interest of the organization
  • Represent the company in every non litigation disputes event and litigation disputes event ( Labour courts and High Supreme Court as required )
  • Review and implement of Corporate HR Policy & Procedures, Company Regulation, and Collective Labour Agreement

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification in Law with minimum of 8 year experiences in similar role for large Mining, Construction, or Oil & Gas industry,
  • Excellent working knowledge of current Industrial Relations practices, Labor Law, or government regulation,
  • Possess valid lawyer / advocate licenses is a must
  • Demonstrate a strong track record in managing IR issues and disputes both in non-litigation phase (Labour Courts and High Supreme Court) in within a unionized environment
  • Experience of developing a good working relationship with the Unions and Employees / Employees Representative (Bipartite Forum).
  • Ideally your experience will have been gained within a similar multi-sited environment.
  • Strong leadership skills and good team work.
  • Excellent communication skills in English both verbal and written.
 

Officer Plant TS

Responsibilities

  • You will responsible to support proses for Thiess Australia Operations as part of Shared Services Opportunities; support in completing the monthly Plant Planning & Engineering; complete the defect report management; generate low hours component report for Thiess Australian mining equipment; weekly plant cost dissection review for under carriage and major repair cost; maintain database of major repair and undercarriage provision; support in upload and update component budget, update planned life of the equipment as required; support in maintain PM Strategy of unit rebuild as required.

Requirements

To be successful in this role you will need to have:
  • Diploma mechanical engineering with 2 years of experience working with Plant Department;
  • Fundamental understanding of safety and environmental issues and developments particularly involving tyres and Plant system;
  • Attention to detail and good analytical skills;
  • Computer literate to programming level;
  • Good communication skills in English and Bahasa written and verbal.

  • Computer literacy.
  • Strong communication both in English & Bahasa, and also strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
