G-Resources is an Asia-Pacific gold company, based and listed in Hong Kong, and is operating the Martabe Gold Mine in North Sumatera. Having poured our first gold bars, the mine and processing plant is now focused on achieving the ramp up phase to go into full production. The open cut mine, with an average strip ratio of less than 1.4:1, and a conventional processing circuit incorporating jaw crushing, SAG and ball milling and CIL, is targeting to initially process 4.5mtpa to produce 250,000 ounces of gold and 3 million ounces of silver annually. The Martabe Gold Mine is striving to maintain an excellent track record in responsible mining practices, and clear commitment to compliance to mining regulations as well as developing and managing mining activities with the involvement of local communities.
To strengthen the existing management team and to ensure the achievement of the company objectives, the Martabe Gold Mine is looking for candidate to fill the role:
HSE Trainer ( TD 0114)
Responsibilities
- This position will be based at Martabe site and reports directly to the Supervisor Safety Training.
- This position exist to assist the Supervisor Safety Training in the development and implementation of knowledge and skill training, to ensure ongoing progression of all PTAR Personnel who require training competency and awareness in terms of Health, Safety and Environment in order to work safely and effectively within the appropriate company and government regulations and legislation. The incumbent will be the front-line trainer and assessor of numerous HSE Competency Training Awareness.
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor Degree in OHS, Education & Training or relevant
- Have a certified Trainer, Rigger, Scaffolder, Defensive Driving Trainer and Various MINERBA Certifications.
- Experience in conducting training for PTW (Permit to Work), working at Height, Lock Out, & Tag Out, and other training related to HSE.
- Experience in designing, developing and implementing Safety Training Programs both in Indonesia and English Language.
- Possess Local Light Vehicle Driving Licence.
- 5 years experience in mining industry with 3 years as HSE Trainer.
- Sound awareness of Competency Based Training Systems
- Knowledge in the field of Risk Assessment and Risk Management.
- Ability to communicate Batak language is desirable
- High level competency in computer applications including Word, Excel and Power Point.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to work well with others as part of a team and contribute to a harmonious working environment.
