G-Resources is an Asia-Pacific gold company, based and listed in Hong Kong, and is operating the Martabe Gold Mine in North Sumatera. Having poured our first gold bars, the mine and processing plant is now focused on achieving the ramp up phase to go into full production. The open cut mine, with an average strip ratio of less than 1.4:1, and a conventional processing circuit incorporating jaw crushing, SAG and ball milling and CIL, is targeting to initially process 4.5mtpa to produce 250,000 ounces of gold and 3 million ounces of silver annually. To strengthen the existing management team and to ensure the achievement of the company objectives, the Martabe Gold Mine is looking for candidate to fill the role:

Rigger/Scaffolder (PRO 0108)

Responsibilities

This position will be based in Martabe Project and reports directly to the Material Handling Supervisor.

Role of this position is responsible to provide "hands-on" support for the Material Handling Supervisor, so as to ensure that all lifting and transport activities carried out by the Material Handling team are performed in a professional, safe, diligent, timely, cost efficient and cost effective manner, whilst taking into consideration the priority requirements of the Process Plant and associated infrastructures mechanical

plant, equipment & apparatus being attended to.

Requirements

Candidates for this role would be expected to have the following qualifications and experience:

• Possess approved Rigging and scaffolding qualifications.
• Advanced scaffolders are desired.
• Possess a valid recognised HE Drivers licence.
• Experience in similar positions within the mining industry.
• A good understanding of world class mining standards and associated safety standards.
• Thorough knowledge with scaffolding standards.
• Thorough knowledge of rigging standards, inspect ion requirements of slings, chains and lifting equipment.
• Prior experience working with cranes up to 160T capacity.
• Thorough knowledge of occupational hazards within the mineral processing industry.
• Thorough knowledge of safe lifting techniques.
• Ability to perform routine inspect ions & maintenance on lifting apparatus, E.g. chains, sling, shackles, spreaders, hooks, blocks, clamps, tie-downs, lever hoists, chain- blocks.
• Thorough knowledge of acceptable lifting devices, apparatus & attachments.
• Ability to under stand and efficiently carry out written and oral inst ructions.
• Ability to demonstrate "Safe Working Procedures" to subordinates.
• Ability to estimate the amounts of labour, materials , and equipment required for tasks I projects.
• Ability to prepare report s and maintain accurate records.
• Reasonable English language verbal & written communication skills.
• Computer literacy with Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook and Internet.
