ICT STAFF - COMMUNICATIONS SYSTEMS

ICT Staff - Network-Communications Systems

• LAN systems - Extensive experience working with switches in a medium to large network. In particular must have experience with Cisco switches, CatOS, hierarchical LANs, VLANs and LAN QoS.
• WAN systems - Extensive experience working with routers in a medium to large network. In particular must have experience with Cisco routers, IOS, Cisco 3-layer internetwork model and WAN QoS.
• TCP/IP systems - Extensive experience working with TCP/IP in a medium to large network. In particular must have experience with routing protocols, network troubleshooting in LAN and WAN, and TCP/IP network management.
• Wireless, VoIP, VSAT, fibre optics and related technologies.

You should have at least five (5) years IT industry experience, with minimum three (3) years in a systems administration role, in the specific areas enumerated above, a university graduate from a reputable institution, and a self-starter who is able to work independently. Interpersonal and language skills to work with both local and expatriate staff are required. You must have the ability to communicate effectively, write reports and formal documentation. Professional industry certifications are preferred but not mandatory.
