AEL Mining Services is a leading developer, producer and supplier of commercial explosives, initiating systems and blasting services for mining, quarrying and construction markets in Africa and Indonesia.

AEL is currently undergoing an exciting phase of growth. To support this continued growth, we are currently looking to recruit following positions:

PAYROLL OFFICER

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure payroll to all employee are well managed and on schedule (Local & Expatriate)
• Preparing and processing the payment & reporting of monthly income tax, Jamsostek and DPLK including claims proceedings
• Compiles payroll data, and enters data or computes and posts wages, and reconciles errors, to maintain payroll records, using computer.
• Prepares computer input forms, enters data into computer files, or computes wages and deductions, using calculator, and posts to payroll records.
• Reviews wages computed and corrects errors to ensure accuracy of payroll.
• Records changes affecting net wages, for example exemptions, insurance coverage, and loan payments for each employee to update master payroll records.
• Records data concerning transfer of employees between departments, mutation, & promotions
• Prepare periodic reports of earnings, taxes, and deductions.
• Keep records of nontaxable income
• Prepare & distribute the pay slip
• Preparing the reconciliation report of the current month salary payments
• Preparing the summaries for all payroll payment to be made.
• Requesting for the approval for payment of payroll from the authorised signatories.
• Preparing the payroll transaction summaries for the finance department for bank reconciliation purposes.
• Inputting the journals for the payment of Payroll, Income Tax, DPLK, & Jamsostek into SAP.
• Working together with the Finance and Accounting department to process the monthly and annual closing for accounting purposes & income tax report
• Checking the separation claims and payments to ensure that they have been processed correctly.

Requirements:

• Female/male with maximum age 28 years old
• Holds at least Bachelors Degree in Accountancy with min GPA 3.00
• Has minimum 2 years experience in the similar position
• Possess good knowledge of Indonesia tax and have ability in tax calculation & report
• Strong analytical & accuracy
• Good communication skill both in Indonesia & English
