KTC Group established itself firmly in a highly competitive earthworks and construction market in Singapore. As a diversification strategy and in anticipation of the growing market demand for economical energy, KTC Group entered the coal business in Kalimantan, Indonesia in 2005 under PT. KTC Coal Mining & Energy.

Our vast experience and knowledge in the earthwork and construction work in Singapore is a huge strength for us when it comes to managing open-pit coal mining in Indonesia. Combined with our seven Core Values (Safety, Professionalism, People – Centeredness, Ownership, Teamwork, Integrity and Quality), we have established ourselves as a responsible and reliable operator in coal mining industry. This is proven with our good track record of coal deliveries.

We operate our mining business with in-house design and planning teams, heavy machineries, articulated trucks including jetty facilities for barging services and own coal testing laboratories. With increasing global demand for coal, we can easily foresee that our coal mining operations in Indonesia will continue to expand and contribute significantly to our growth.

When we entered this business in 2005, our coal production was only about 0.5 million tons. This has now steadily increased to 3.1 million tons in the year 2011. We are confident that our production will rise further in the coming years with more expansion plans on the anvil.

WAREHOUSE MANAGER (WM)

Responsibilities
This role requires an individual with strong managerial and leadership skills to lead the teams. The Warehouse Manager
will need to demonstrate high quality management skills in ensuring team cohesion, motivation and provision of services.
Working alongside and reporting to the Country Manager, you will need to have a deep understanding in the process of
managing operations and be a proficient multi-tasking person. The successful candidate will need excellent
organizational skills and the ability to handle the responsibilities of this dynamic and exciting role. The individual best
suited to the role, will be one who can adapt to a high pressure role, including a workload that will present daily and
weekly challenges.

In return for your expertise and technical leadership, you will be offered and attractive salary, great working conditions
and a flexible roster off arrangement (8 work weeks completion will be entitled to 12 days home leave).

The main responsibilities of Warehouse Manager include but not limited to:

• Manage and supervise all aspects of warehouse operations
• Monitor all aspects of costing, receipts, issuance, storage, allocation, fuel, oil and plant returns and
• reconciliation of inventory levels
• Responsible for accurate data reports entered and produced from the system
• Manage the warehouse stock level optimally at all times
• Present monthly report of warehouse stock and inventory
• Analyze and advise on unit parts usage and on alternative competitive products
• Ad-hoc duties as assigned by Superior.

Requirements

• Preferred male below 40 years old
• Min. Diploma holder in Warehouse Management, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or related disciplines
• At least 8 years’ experience of warehouse management, preferably warehouse for construction spare parts, civil
• project, mining, heavy equipment (excavator, tipper trucks, bulldozers, etc)
• Have a deep understanding in the process of managing warehouse and distribution operations
• Possess a strong knowledge base of OH&S and safety compliance within the industry
• Proficient in English and good working knowledge of Mandarin is an added advantage(liaise with chinese client)
• Strong ability to liaise and engage with suppliers or freight companies, etc
• Excellent leadership and communication with good people management skills
• Willing to be placed in Kalimantan area and travel around Indonesia
