An excellent opportunity for Senior Developer APEX has arisen to join our Corporate Services team based in Jakarta.

 

Reporting to the Software Development Manager you will be responsible for the maintenance, enhancement and support the software deployed by the ICT team by performing effective analysis, design, development and testing to meet the requirements of the department and the users of the systems.

To be successful in this role you will need to have:

  • TAFE or Tertiary Studies in Information Technology or equivalent demonstrated experience.
  • Minimum 2 - 4 years experience in a software development role.
  • Experience with working in an environment that is tracked via an incident management tool.
  • Demonstrated experience in:
    • Oracle Application Express (ApEx)
    • Oracle PL/SQL
    • Database modeling and conceptual design
    • HTML
    • JavaScript
    • Oracle BI Publisher
    • AJAX
    • Report Writing
  • Thorough knowledge of system development lifecycle.
  • Strong debugging skills.
  • Proficient software unit testing.
  • Ability to work in a structured/controlled development environment.
  • Ability to work from a functional specification and create a technical specification.
  • Good English language skills - Oral and Written.

Requirements

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • An engineer or a suitably experience person with a minimum education of senior High School certificate.
  • Strong civil knowledge and background.
  • Competent computer skills
  • A desire to learn and to be part of a well-respected company
  • Have a minimum of 10 years' experience, with 3 to 5 years site or hands on knowledge.
  • Able to compile estimates from first principles. Which include man hours, material costs, productivity factors, planning and be willing to learn
  • Carry out material take-offs. Covering earthworks, roads, concrete works and site development.
  • Have sound knowledge of earthwork machinery, and their capabilities and productivities.
  • Able to work with others and be part of a team.
  • Able to speak, read and understand English.
  • Be an active member within the estimating group.
  • Have sound knowledge of all Health and Safety

 

SUPERINTENDENT INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS REF: 804333

With continued growth we are seeking experiences and qualified person to fill in a position of Superintendent Industrial Relations that will be based in Jakarta Office.

 

This is fantastic opportunity for experienced industrial relations professional. To be successful in the role, you will need to demonstrate a strong track record in managing IR issues and disputes both in non- litigation phase ( Labour Courts and High Supreme Court) in within a unionized environment and also experience of developing a good working relationship with the Unions and Employees / Employees Representative ( Bipartite Forum ). Ideally your experience will have been gained within a similar multi-sited environment. Experience within the mining industry/construction industry will be advantageous.

Resposibilities :

  • Advise managers, site HR, and site management on a range of IR issues
  • Work with site HR to improve their knowledge and understanding of IR related legislation
  • Improve site HR confidence in dealing with IR issues
  • Assist in developing IR policies and procedures and advise on relevant law
  • Negotiation and consultation with trade unions
  • Effectively manage relationships between site management and trade unions
  • Establish, develop, and maintain the Provincial and Regional governmental network including all of labour courts officials
  • Communicate with site HR and the bipartite forums, servicing their needs through the meetings and gathering IR information
  • To work closely with the operations manager in ensuring both the Union and the Members are working together for the best interest of the organization
  • Represent the company in every non litigation disputes event and litigation disputes event ( Labour courts and High Supreme Court as required )
  • Review and implement of Corporate HR Policy & Procedures, Company Regulation, and Collective Labour Agreement

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in Law with minimum of 8 year experiences in similar role for large Mining, Construction, or Oil & Gas industry,
  • Excellent working knowledge of current Industrial Relations practices, Labor Law, or government regulation,
  • Possess valid lawyer / advocate licenses is a must,
  • Experience to handle various cases of Industrial Relation in the Labor Court,
  • Strong leadership skills and good team work,
  • Excellent communication skills in English both verbal and written.
