Our client is a globally renowned logistics company and one of the most sought after supply chain solutions provider in Singapore. They operate in more than 300 countries and have a strong number of 60,000 employees. Due to business expansion, they are looking for an established professional to lead the operational excellence for Oil & Gas, Projects and Marine Logistics in Singapore and Malaysia.
In this highly coveted role, you will improve and implement strategies to ensure productivity of the Oil & Gas, Projects and Marine Logistics within Singapore and Malaysia. This includes operational obligation for all products including warehousing and ship agency for Rig and Maritime Support Services. Coordination with internal stakeholders and various networks will result to an organized and efficient business resolution that will be presented to your clientele. Being accountable to your partners, you are expected to build a strong and healthy relationship and retain businesses with them. You will need to strengthen the local, regional and global account structure and oversee RFQ/RFI submissions. This position will also require a reliable professional to perform the agreed financial strategies or budget as well as managing profitability. Another core responsibility of this exciting role is the daily management of employees and ensures improvement of skills, motivation, company ethics and communication.
To be successfully selected for this role, a proven and documented experience in the Oil & Gas and Marine Logistics in both operations and commercial is required. You can have a degree with relevant experience in the industry and particularly about 5 years of managerial experience. It will be an advantage to have solid experience in ship agency, husbandry and Rig and Maritime Support Services. A strong leader who can work effectively with management and commercial staff and result oriented individuals are the ones who will truly make a difference in this critical position.
