Operations Executive

Responsibilities

• Interpret charter party agreements, contracts and letter of credits to ensure the terms and conditions are acceptable and LC terms are workable.
• Fully execute the charter-party agreement such as: nominating agents, preparing the stowage plan, paying the freight and freight finalization with owners.
• Supervise the planning of cargo intakes.
• Liaise with the regulatory bodies port authorities, tax and customs offices etc.
• Maintain frequent customer contact both internal and external helping foresee opportunities and risk.
• Maintain close contact with surveyors for preloading and loading inspection.
• Assisting in call-back procedures if necessary and advising customers of our 3rd party payment requirements.
• Ensure accurate preparation of invoices and ensure payment is duly received on time.
• Negotiate claims and respond effectively and proactively to problems.
• Negotiate document for a designated responsibility area.

Requirements

• Diploma / Degree holder
• Jakarta  Area
• Basic knowledge of bulk commodities and/or non-ferrous metals physical trading
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the same type will be advantageous
• Exposure and understanding of LCs and Incoterms
• Experience in freight forwarding and logistics
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skill
• Should be a woman
• Having an experience and fully understood to Letter of Credit or another kind of documents.
