PT. Meares Soputan Mining is a Mining Industry with main office at Jakarta, representative at Manado, and Project Site located at Toka Tindung – North Sulawesi, to run our seamless operation, we need qualified candidate to support our operation as :

 

SUPERVISOR MAINTENANCE MECHANICAL – FIX PLANT
(CODE : SMM-VI/18)
(Location : Toka Tindung)

The Fixed Plant Mechanical Supervisor is responsible for the safe and timely execution of planned maintenance work in the crushing and conveying area - specifically the completion of the weekly maintenance work schedules and the regular plant shutdowns - to achieve high equipment availability with a zero injury rate.

Duties :

  1. Coordinate the daily work and shutdown work of the crusher mechanical crew to achieve high compliance to the weekly plan, and to the shutdown plans.
  2. Work with Maintenance Engineering Section to identify and resolve maintenance problems, especially those which affect job safety and equipment availability.
  3. Coordinate with the Document Controller, Planning, to ensure that all mill area manuals and drawings are kept up to date, and that any deficiencies are corrected.

Requirements :

  • A trades background with extensive practical experience in the mining and training.
  • Or an engineering degree with extensive practical supervisory experience in the mining industry or related industry.
  • Attendance of supervisory courses.
  • Experience with Gyratory Crushers, SAG and Ball Mills
  • Conveyor belt repair and maintenance.
  • Practical supervision of maintenance teams in a process plant environment of at least 2 years.
  • Previous process Plant commissioning and post commissioning experience in an isolated or difficult geographical location.
  • Consistent under pressure
  • Holding Indonesian drivers license
  • Able to demonstrate the awareness of corporate safety & environmental

 

MECHANICAL GENERAL FOREMAN (CODE : MGF-VI/18)
(Location : Toka Tindung)

Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, this is a maintenance line management role in which the incumbent will be responsible for the overall management of the maintenance effort from primary crusher through the milling and grinding areas to the gold room as well as outlying areas such as the water supply and tailings disposal system.

Duties:

  1. Ensure that maintenance crews achieve high compliance to the ‘Weekly Plan’, and to the ‘Shutdown Plans’.
  2. Monitor that work orders are completed to a good standard and returned to the planning department in a timely manner.
  3. Ensure that all tools and equipment used by the workshop crews are maintained to a high standard.
  4. Monitor the quality of work produced in the workshops and establish procedures to verify and improve the quality of work.
  5. Coordinate the work of specialist maintenance contractors required by Process Plant, such as for the liner changes in both mill and primary crusher.

Requirements:

  1. A trades background with extensive practical experience in the mining and ongoing training or an engineering degree with extensive practical supervisory experience in the mining industry or related industry.
  2. Attendance of supervisory courses.
  3. Experience with Gyratory Crushers, SAG and Ball Malls, conveyor belt repair and maintenance
  4. Practical supervision of maintenance teams in a process plant environment of at least 10 years
  5. Previous process Plant commissioning and post commissioning experience in an isolated or difficult geographical location.
  6. Has Indonesian driver’s license (SIM A)
  7. Able to demonstrate the awareness of corporate safety & environmental

 

RELIABILITY ENGINEER TECHNICIAN (CODE : RET-II/18)
(Location: Toka Tindung Site)

Reporting to the Planning & Reliability Superintendent the incumbent will provide both condition monitoring services and reliability engineering support to the process plant maintenance and operations groups to ensure maximum equipment availability at optimum cost and without compromising safety.

Duties:

  1. Prepare budget for reliability projects and regularly report against budget.
  2. Monitor and analyse spares usage, and continually seek to improve usage.
  3. Conduct condition based monitoring activities, including oil analysis, vibration, thermography, NDT, QA/QC and other methods as applicable for the process plant equipment.
  4. Ensure that the equipment and tools necessary to perform allocated work are present and in good condition, prior to start of work.
  5. Review and analyse the collected data and recommend remedial actions.
  6. Facilitate Root Cause Failure Analysis on equipment failures, with the objective of understanding the failure modes and consequently, adapt the maintenance strategies and activities to prevent re-occurrences.
  7. In conjunction with Maintenance Planners, review and modify maintenance processes, procedures, servicing techniques, inspection periodicities or applicability to equipment.
  8. 8. Provide technical assistance to other maintenance personnel.

Requirements:

  • Degree in a relevant Engineering discipline e.g. Maintenance Management and Reliability, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or at least 5 years as a condition monitoring technician, preferably in the mineral processing industry.
  • Fluent in English, spoken and written.
  • Several years engineering experience in an industrial environment, preferably mining, but construction and other heavy industries including oil and gas, cement or manufacturing would be considered.
  • Detailed understanding and familiarity with reliability engineering principles.
  • Previous experience conducting condition monitoring or non-destructive testing activities.
  • Understanding and previous experience of computerized maintenance management systems preferably PRONTO
  • Accomplished and proficient computer literacy, specifically MS Word, Excel, MS Project or similar.
  • Able to demonstrate the awareness of corporate safety & environmental
