PT. Bumi Suksesindo (BSI) is a subsidiary of the IDX listed company, PT Merdeka Copper Gold Tbk and owns the flagship Tujuh Bukit Project in the Banyuwangi region, East Java.

Exploration at the Tujuh Bukit has delineated a world class gold project; with an expected mine life of approximately 10 years. The initial phase of the project involves open pit mining and processing of the gold/silver rich oxide cap. At this time, we are commencing the construction on this project and aiming our first production at the end of 2016.

Currently, we are hiring mining professionals to fill the following positions within a growing organization.

Successful candidates will be required to work on attractive Fly-in, Fly-out (FIFO) roster. Living conditions on site are located in idyllic surroundings along the south eastern coast of Java.

 

Document Control

(Code : MCG - DC)

7+ years experience in the related area as a Document Controller, preferred in supervisory level with at least five-years supporting an engineering and construction project, preferably in the mining - construction sector

Requirements :

  • Temporary position (1 year contract)
  • Previous experience managing a Document Control in Mining - Construction company
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and experience with large scale Document Management System Software
  • Must be a self-starter attitude with proactive, results-oriented focus; and willing and capable to assume additional responsibilities
  • Must be able to interface with a variety of people with different technical levels and educational backgrounds; must be detail-oriented and highly organized;
  • Must be proficient in English and Bahasa Indonesia verbal and written

Manager Corporate Communication

This position has to deal with external public relations at the corporate level by increasing brand exposure through industry editors, media personnel, and journalists. These professionals develop deep relationships with key players to maximize quality and frequency of exposure. Corporate Communications executives also deal with the internal public relations to increase brand awareness, help create integrated brands and generate budgets.

Requirements :

  • Degree from law, communication or related field.
  • Min 10 years relevant experience preferably in Mining industry.
  • Familiar with mining issue, manpower regulation, industrial relation dispute, corporate secretary, corporate communication, developing policy and procedures.
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills and meticulous.
  • Possess good project background and technical writing ability and skills.
  • Mature, proactive, resourceful and hands-on with good initiative.
  • Independent worker who is able to work well with minimal supervision.

Superintendent HSE

(Code: MCG - SHSE)

To provide Health, Safety and Environment information, advice and system implementation assistance to Merdeka Operational Sites to achieve a safe, healthy and incident free work environment. 

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 year’s professional experience in the mining industry.
  • Minimum 2 year’s professional experience as a Manager or Superintendent.
  • Tertiary Graduate with relevant qualifications in Occupational Health, Engineering, related discipline.
  • Occupational Health Safety Expert  (Ahli K3 Umum)
  • Knowledge and understanding of technical, operation, administrative principles and procedures of Health and Safety Implementation
  • Willing to be placed in Head Office, Jakarta

 

Junior Geotechnical Engineer

(Code: MCG – JGE )

This position is responsible for geotechnical data and Working together with exploration, hydrogeology and geology team in accordance to data collection activity  

Requirements :

  • Bachelor degree in geology/mining engineering with strong engineering geologist interest
  • Experience in similar position 1-3 years preferably in porphyry type deposit is a consideration.
  • Good leadership and people management skills preferable
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both oral and written in English
  • High skill in Microsoft excel data processing is an asset
  • Be able to work on shift roster (day and night)
  • Understand rock mass classification and caving mining methodology
  • Willing to be placed in Head Office, Jakarta

 

Officer Internal Auditor

This position performing the full audit cycle including risk management and control management over operations' effectiveness, financial reliability and compliance with all applicable directives and regulations.

Requirements :

  • Background Diploma degree, majoring in Accounting or Engineering with minimum 3,00 GPA (4 scale)
  • Understanding on mining plant and process
  • Good in English (both verbal and written)
  • Good communication skills, understanding of mining business, management principles and also good business sense
  • Strong analytical and problem solving
  • Understand Audit Reporting

Compensation and Benefits Specialist

This position monitoring salary structure and benefits, and also responsible for benchmark compensation, annual performance review for align with the company’s strategy and business goals.

Requirements :

  • Previous working experience as a compensation and benefits specialist for (10) years
  • Prior experience in HR operations and knowledge of best practices
  • Good understanding of full cycle hiring process
  • Familiarity with current employment rules and regulations
  • Hands on experience with HR software (HRIS)
  • Hands on experience with quantitative and qualitative research
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Manager Community Affairs

  • Plan, communicate, build, and maintain relationship with community, mainly at operations level.
  • Monitor, document, and renew information regards to dynamics of politics, social, economy, cultural, security and order; within national to local level.
  • Evaluate the relationship with community and execution of community development and empowerment programs.
  • Measure, report, and document (internal) the performance of community relations and execution of community development and empowerment programs.
  • Plan and conduct the community development and empowerment programs, project and activities.
  • Document and renew the documents of community development and empowerment programs, project, and activities.

Requirements :

  • Degree in social science, agriculture, economic, sociology, law and related field study.
  • Understanding on mining plant and process
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in in the same position.
  • Capable in dealing with social conflict and conflict resolution in mining industry.
  • Has a good record in community development in mining industry.
  • Has a good understanding of social modify behaviour, social mapping and capacity building.
  • Social mapping, need assessment, Community Development, Community Relation
  • Willing to be placed in Site, Wetar Island
  • Work with FIFO system ( 19 days in : 9 days out)

 

Superintendent  Communication Affairs

(Code: MCG – SCA )

  • Develop and maintain stakeholder relations with key non-governmental organisations, civil society groups, Member of Parliaments, academia, and other influential groups in building alliances in promoting the Company’s social programs, commitments and positive impacts surrounding its operations.
  • Develop concepts, strategy, and supervise the development of company reporting as part the Company’s compliance towards international and national standards for sustainable and good corporate governance indicators. Company reports include contribution to Annual Reports and Sustainability Report in accordance with GRI standards.
  • Engage with local and regional media in promoting company’s positive image through strategic publications and documentation and update local issues and report to Management that may have impact in sustaining company operations.  

Requirements :

  • Minimum 10 years experience in stakeholder engagement
  • Minimum S1 degree from reputable university majoring in political & social sciences, journalism, communications, public policy and management
  • Good English proficiency including written and spoken (paper-based TOEFL: min scoring 500)
  • Good writing skills particularly journalism and reporting
  • 5 years experience in the field of research and development

Direct, coordinate, plan and control government affairs services, permitting, facilitation and regulatory activities to support company and maintain good relationship with local government in line with company and Government of Indonesia law and regulation.

Requirements :

  • University Degree (S1) from any disciplines
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in government relations from mineral mining industry, plus two years in managerial function.
  • Problem solving skills.
  • Lobbying and negotiation skills.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Managerial skill.
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
  • Knowledge of Indonesian law, regulation, and decree related to mine operation.

Assistant Manager Project & Application Development

(Code: MCG – PAD )

primary function is to manage project, develop related business system, and design new business solutions, enhance or adapt existing business systems and integrate new features or improvements, all with the aim of improving business efficiency and productivity,

  • Analyze user processes as well as business practice and recommendations for improvements more effective business process.
  • Manage application configuration and upgrades, and problem analysis and resolution for application problems, in conjunction with the users and external application or service suppliers where necessary.
  • Ensure that the business application systems supported are maintained to the highest possible standard with maximum levels of attainable productivity and efficiency.
  • Manage application projects and assist users to run their application projects, providing technical and project management input where required.
