PT Batutua Tembaga Raya and PT Batutua Kharisma Permai jointly operate the Wetar Copper Mining in Southwest Maluku. The Wetar copper Mining is an open pit mine that produces cathode copper LME grade from heap leaching followed by Solvent Extraction and Electrowinning processing.

To strengthen the existing management team and to ensure the achievement of the company objectives, the company is seeking suitable candidates to fill the position of:

 

Plant Maintenance Superintendent

This position will be based at the Wetar Copper Mining site and reports directly to Deputy Maintenance Manager. This is a staff position with 4 week on : 2 week off roster.

 Candidates for this role would be expected to have the following qualifications and experience:

1. Tertiary qualifications degree in Mechanical Engineering with minimum GPA 3.2 (base 0-4).
2. At least 10 years of experience in Plant Mechanical Maintenance in mining industry with minimum 5 years role of Supervisory/ Superintendent level.
3. Ability to effectively communicate in English language both verbally and in writing.
4. Possesses advanced technical skills in the mechanical fields (In mineral processing plant include crushing).
5. Thorough knowledge of world-class maintenance management systems, work order processes, preventive/predictive maintenance, etc.
6. Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills.
7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
8. High level of organizational planning, teamwork, analytical reasoning skills.
9. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite of and the Internet. Well versed in the use of SAP.
10. Strong interpersonal and technical skills required; presentation skills preferred.

 

Plant Maintenance Supervisor

This position will be based at the Wetar Copper Mining site and reports directly to Superintendent Maintenance. This is a staff position with 4 week on : 2 week off roster.

Candidates for this role would be expected to have the following qualifications, experience and technical skills :

1. Tertiary qualifications degree in Mechanical Engineering with minimum GPA 2.8 (base 0-4).
2. At least 7 years experience in mining industry with minimum 3 years role of Supervisory level.
3. Experienced in fixed plant management
4. Experienced in pump rebuild and alignment
5. Familiar with CMMS/ERP
6. Able to train and mentor local employees
7. Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills.
8. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, support by ability to effectively communicate in English language both verbally and in writing.
9. Strong interpersonal and technical skills required; presentation skills preferred.
10. Report writing skills.

 

Mobile Plant Mechanic

This position will be based at the Wetar Copper Mining site and reports directly to Maintenance Supervisor. This is a nonstaff position with 4 week on : 2 week off roster.

Candidates for this role would be expected to have the following qualifications, experience and Key Responsibilities:

1. Minimum education is senior high school or equivalent.
2. At least have minimum 5 years relevant experience.
3. Male, age 25 – 45 years old.
4. Hold a current driver’s license.
5. Familiar with various types of Heavy Equipment maintenance and troubleshooting from various brands and series. Among others : HD Cat 773, DT Iveco, Excavator Cat 320-330, Excavator Cat 390 and 6015, Loader Cat 966H, etc.
6. Familiar with working at remote area.
7. Good team work.
8. Willing to work on contract basis.
9. Willing to be hired with Point of Hire : Surabaya, Makassar, and Mataram

 

Drill Mechanic/ Drill Fitter

This position will be based at the Wetar Copper Mining site and reports directly to Supervisor Mobile Maintenance. This is a nonstaff position with 4 week on : 2 week off roster.

Candidates for this role would be expected to have the following qualifications, experience :

1. High School or higher education graduate.
2. At least have minimum 3 years of relevant experience in mining industry.
3. Familiar with Atlas Copco Power ROC T50 and Sonic Drill maintenance and troubleshoot
4. Male, age 25 – 40 years old.
5. Hold a current driver’s license.
6. Willing to work on shifts and roster applied by the company.
7. Willing to be placed at Wetar Site, Pulau Wetar, Maluku Barat Daya.
8. Familiar with working at remote area and good team player.
9. Willing to be hired with Point of Hire : Surabaya, Makassar, and Mataram

 

Maintenance Secretary

This position will be based at the Wetar Copper Mining site and reports directly to Maintenance Superintendent. This is a staff position with 4 week on : 2 week off roster.

Candidates for this role would be expected to have the following qualifications, experience :

1. Holding diploma majoring secretary.
2. At least have minimum 5 years relevant experience in mining industry.
3. Female, age 25 – 35 years old.
4. Ability to effectively communicate in English language both verbally and in writing.
5. Advanced computer skill level, MS program (excel, word, Visio).
6. Familiar with maintenance software is preferable (CMMS and others).
7. Ability to multi-task numerous complex administrative activities.
8. Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with other staffs.
9. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
10. Familiar with working at remote area.
11. 1Good team player.

 

Operator DT (Iveco)

This position will be based at the Wetar Copper Mining site and reports directly to Maintenance Supervisor. This is a nonstaff position with 6 week on : 3 week off roster.

Candidates for this role would be expected to have the following qualifications, experience and Key Responsibilities:

1. High School or higher education graduate.
2. At least have minimum 5 years relevant experience.
3. Familiar with Iveco DT units or Europe type DT units
4. Male, age 25 – 45 years old.
5. Hold a valid driver’s license (SIM B2 Umum).
6. Familiar with working at remote area.
7. Good team work.
8. Willing to be hired with Point of Hire : Surabaya, Makassar, and Mataram

 

Operator Loader

This position will be based at the Wetar Copper Mining site and reports directly to Maintenance Supervisor. This is a nonstaff position with 6 week on : 3 week off roster.

Candidates for this role would be expected to have the following qualifications, experience and Key Responsibilities:

1. High School or higher education graduate.
2. At least have minimum 5 years relevant experience.
3. Familiar with Cat 966H Loader or other major Wheel Loader brands in mining projects
4. Male, age 25 – 45 years old.
5. Hold a valid driver’s license (SIM B2 Umum).
6. Familiar with working at remote area.
7. Good team work.
8. Willing to be hired with Point of Hire : Surabaya, Makassar, and Mataram

 

Operator Excavator

This position will be based at the Wetar Copper Mining site and reports directly to Maintenance Supervisor. This is a nonstaff position with 6 week on : 3 week off roster.

Candidates for this role would be expected to have the following qualifications, experience and Key Responsibilities:

1. High School or higher education graduate.
2. At least have minimum 5 years relevant experience.
3. Familiar with Cat 320, Cat 330 and other small/medium excavator types
4. Male, age 25 – 45 years old.
5. Hold a valid driver’s license (SIM B2 Umum).
6. Familiar with working at remote area.
7. Good team work.
8. Willing to be hired with Point of Hire : Surabaya, Makassar, and Mataram

 

Operator Drill

This position will be based at the Wetar Copper Mining site and reports directly to Maintenance Supervisor. This is a nonstaff position with 6 week on : 3 week off roster.

 Candidates for this role would be expected to have the following qualifications and experience:

1. Tertiary qualifications degree with minimum GPA 3.0 (base 0-4).
2. At least 10 years of experience in community development for mining companies with minimum 5 years role of Superintendent level.
3. Ability to effectively communicate in English language both verbally and in writing.
4. Possesses advanced negotiation skill.
5. Able to develop programs for local community empowerment.
6. Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills.
7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
8. High level of organizational planning, teamwork, analytical reasoning skills.
9. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite of and the Internet. Well versed in the use of SAP.
10. Strong interpersonal and technical skills required; presentation skills preferred.
